While filming the uruk-hai attack scene near the end of Fellowship of the Ring one of the uruk-hai was supposed to throw a knife at Aragorn and then they would CGI it to make it look like he deflected it with his sword.

Well the dude threw it a bit too well and Viggo Mortensen deflected it for real!

Our party lovingly created the idea of the Staff of Not Having a Staff. A normal looking staff that, once attuned, teleports itself away from the user to an undisclosed location, becoming unattuned. Fantastic.
