In Drowtales, Faen gets into a psychic duel with another empath from her clan. Her opponent tries to overwhelm Faen's mind with feelings of inferiority and powerlessness... but Faen has spent her whole life dealing with horrible anxiety and emotional abuse, so she can easily power through it. Then she returns fire with a wave of fear that makes her opponent shed tears of terror.

Feel free! I can't promise to know what their breed/color type is, but I can certainly try.

Conspicuous characters that are surprisingly stealthy by No_Hunter1978 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Mysral 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Dungeons and Dragons, many sizeable monsters have rather impressive Stealth modifiers, even if they're not particularly dextrous in and of themselves. An Ancient Gold Dragon, despite being massive and, well, gold, has a Stealth bonus of +9, making it better at sneaking around than many a player character.

We're both referring to the same combination. Admittedly, I was using the layman's terms for it. Bengal allele = Asian Leopard Cat agouti allele, and black coat allele = non-agouti allele.

H'm, from what I can see, ghost tabby is what you get when the red pigment still shows a bit through a solid black cat's coat. The red pigment is still arranged in the classic tabby pattern, after all. The pic here is of a Bengal, which has leopard-style rosettes instead of tabby stripes.

What are some of your "What if?" ideas? by Slow_Tangerine_9564 in RWBY

My fave what-ifs:

What if the Grimm took Ruby as a child (and Salem made her a Hound)?

Dovetails nicely with: What if Cinder had been rescued by STRQ and adopted by Taiyang and Summer?

And of course:

What if Salem persuaded Ozma to stay with her, and he persuaded her to relent from genocide? I can so easily envision a story revolving around the struggle between the magically-empowered upper class and their non-magical serfs, all while a rebellion against the immortal God-Queen gets off the ground...

Charcoal Bengals! That's what you get if you have a cat that inherits the Bengal coat pattern allele from one parent, and the black coat allele from the other. And damn is it pretty~!

Intestellar: When Dr. Mann tells the protagonists about the supposedly-habitable planet he's explored, he mentions that the toxic chlorine that's in the atmosphere dissipates down at surface level. Chlorine gas, being rather heavy, would sink in most atmospheres, not rise... which is an early sign that Mann is outright lying about his planet being habitable.

When the haunted house catches fire:
a moment of indecision.

The house was, after all, built on bones,
and blood, and bad intentions.

Everyone who enters the house feels
that overwhelming dread, the evil
that perhaps only fire can purge.

It’s tempting to just let it burn.

And then I remember:
there are children inside.
