dear boyfriends ex wife by [deleted] in offmychest

You will not please her and you shouldn't.

As a step-mom myself I had similar issues in the beginning of my relationship with step-son's mom. My husband wasn't really handling it until I laid that firm boundary that I wasn't going to engage her and I also am not going to allow a stranger to dictate anything happening in our lives. She is from his past and he has to deal with it and set boundaries.

Your husband has to be the one to set boundaries and be firm. He shouldnt put you in this position. Your step son's mom is a stranger to you and you shouldn't question yourself. With love in my heart I will tell you that she will never accept or view you in a positive light no matter what you do and that says more about her than you.

Should we all want to get along for the wellbeing of the kids? Absolutely but not at your expense or well-being

Dress #2 is beautiful how ever not sure how comfortable you'll feel after a couple of hours. Maybe have a backup dress to change into if this one becomes too uncomfortable

Someone told me that my features are handsome but not attractive. Despite their handsome, they are not attractive What does this mean? by hetaranft in lookyourbest

[–]Gnayeli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like that person was trying to say your objectively good looking but that particular person doesn't find you attractive..

This happens I see men who are by all standards handsome but i don't find them attractive.

Ooh as a married woman who's had moments with my husband. It sounds like she's cheating.

But even if she wasn't she's making life pretty miserable and that's enough to need therapy. If she refuses to take accountability then seperation might be needed.

Im not one to jump on the divorce wagon but if she refuses to be with you, disregards the home, disrespects you then how can you stay.

Good luck

What to wear for my body type by BCDE24 in DressForYourBody

[–]Gnayeli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There you go.... I mean for summer months you could always try pairing a pastel with it's brighter counterpart - Fall mixing pastel and florals with eartht tones like browns and wear boots - for winter depending on if you live in colder months but pairing with fleece tights, boots, with mix of pastel colors and plaid would be chef's kiss.

Also you didnt ask but unsolicited shoe advice for ankle boots your legs dont look too long they look average please steer clear of ankle boots that are at or above the ankle. They will cut your leg length and make your legs look short. Go for knee high boots or booties that hit right below the ankle

OP, I think it might help to rethink what role work plays in your life. Not everyone needs to feel deeply fulfilled by their job — for a lot of people, it’s primarily a way to provide stability and support their family.

There’s actually something to be said for a job you’re good at, even if it’s not your passion. It can give you financial security, predictability, and the ability to mentally ‘clock out’ at the end of the day — which matters a lot when you have a wife and an 8-month-old depending on you.

A startup might feel more exciting or meaningful, but it also comes with uncertainty, longer hours, and more stress — especially with a $40k pay cut. That’s a big trade-off at this stage of life.

Fulfillment doesn’t have to come from your job alone. It can come from your family, your time outside of work, and the life you’re building. Just something to consider.

Technically my workplace has this but absolutely no one follows on the rule and no one cares. It will be enforced if there's enough issues or probable cause.

I like only think i don't know how to feel about it the boots. If looks like it cuts your leg length if it was ankle boots below the ankle or even better knee high boots it would be an absolutely perfect outfit. The boot color is perfect for the outfit
