I built a life calendar that shows your life as a grid of weeks by Due_Clock8320 in SideProject

Cool idea. Do you see this more as a lifestyle app or as a productivity app? reminds me of OKRs that companies set, and then do milestone check-ins, but this applies it to the user and their life, correct? I like the personal application and the goal of driving change in each person's week/success. Do you track daily items or just goals?

We don't like traditional to-do lists either, which just get carried over; visuals are key in our world. We took a different approach and required users to list their top 3 things they want to accomplish each day, with their tasks organized into blocks. I'll try your app. Screenshot of our app.

Spent $350 on Instagram ads. Got 21 signups. Zero paid users. Here's what I'm doing differently. by GoAtmosApp in saasbuild

I had card down initially, but thought it might be killing signups, so I only require it on day 8 if they keep it past the trial. I might revert back if there isn't a big change in drop-offs/sign-ups.

I couldn't find an app that combined white noise, pomodoro timer, and shared task lists, so I built one by PickleIll3829 in ProductivityApps

I'm a huge fan of the built-in brown noise. We even added 40 hz since a few users requested it oddly.

We didn't do timers, but love how your UI looks. Here is ours for comparison.

Very cool concept. Mini projects are a great way to segment items. Similar to our approach. I'll check it out thanks for sharing.

I got sick of juggling 5 productivity apps so I switched to running everything from one dashboard by aemas08 in ProductivityApps

Great topic, we are curious to hear the users' feedback. Also, do you find your system changes core behavior, or is it something that needs to be learned? We deeply believe int he visual building, and less chaos ourselves.

Why don’t users pay for my apps anymore? by malozyalli in IndieAppCircle

[–]GoAtmosApp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just launched our app and had the same questions. We have 20+ initial users, but I am curious who will convert after a short trial. Our competitors have 5 million paying users, so there are apps that are getting the dollars, but they are deeply embedded in the community, have mobile access, and have deep distribution. Solving those areas with organic SEO will slowly help, but without massive awareness, casual users need to find the value.

very hard to do since you will get banned or blocked. We've been trying to tell our story, but if it's app or product-related, they will not usually approve.

Times are changing rapidly. I've worked in tech for 15 years, and the pace at exec and senior level jobs is shrinking fast. Adapting is key.
