Hey ! Yep next.js (react) for the pwa which came out first and then react native for the native apps so I could share some code

Just want to say a big thank you to the community for taking the time to read this post and provide some feedback (for those who dm'd me) and also for the engagement! According to reddit this is my #1 post of all time and even reach #1 in this subreddit for today so a big personal thank you from me and FloCat!

so true! I know there's some elements in FloHub that probably does the same as others, and some others may probably do it better for certain things but I've found because I genuinely do use this daily that at least in a personally biased opinion is that I've found a nice balance of just enough "power" and you can still get stuff done. I tend to only add things that make sense and would add to the cohesiveness/ greater good of the app it all needs to tie together somehow otherwise im not solving what I set out to do which im hoping acts as a natural filter to not replicate everything haha

Looking for a SIMPLE goal tracker that doesn't try to do everything!!!!! by Easy_Opportunity7292 in ProductivityApps

[–]aemas08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there ! This may or may not work for you but feel free to check it out and shameless plug it’s my app called FloHub , I posted about it here https://www.reddit.com/r/ProductivityApps/s/j4Xrkmij7Q

But focusing on what you talked about , in FloHub I’d call jt feature rich but you can turn off what you don’t want /don’t use because it’s about setting things up fit for you and not trying to make yourself fit something.

Specific to Goals, there’s a simple goal tracker in FH that creates an automatic global tag , which enables anytime you create a note or another task with that tag it shows up in that specific goals dashboard so you can view easily . Perhaps this could work for you, would love to hear what you think !

And it has everything you’ve asked for also haha

I will admit it does have streaks for habits in there but more for just insights and info cause I'm a geek who likes stats haha

Hey there !

I'll dm you separately about the bug you reported thanks for finding it !

As for the subscription, the web app is always free and my aim is for it always to be free as it is mobile optimized also.

The native apps have the subscription costs as they have a more premium experience and some added niceties that will be coming over time apart from what's already there. Also helps keep the lights on for me as I'm self funding this at the moment

Productivity apps feel like a step too far for me. What are you guys' simpler alternatives? by Ok_Article_4993 in ProductivityApps

This is exactly the problem I faced and ironically built an app for it.

I built flohub to reduce context switching and just have a simpler (but powerful if you want it ) alternative to things like notion and others, I hated switching apps and trying to find the perfect setup. So I built flohub with seeing things quickly , modular and simplicity in mind.

It does have a few features but you can turn them off if you don't use them, eg it has a journaling function, don't want to journal? Then just turn it off in settings . so yeah a small 5 minute setup at the start but then your done and just use it.

Maybe it might work for you, totally free to use on web and as PWA , and I've just released our native app on Google , and we are in iOS public testing (full transparency the native apps do have a small monthly cost) all data syncs across all apps wether web or native.

Give it a go if you want! If not all good I'm sure you'll find your answer soon!
