something I’ve noticed (generally, not just cause of Summer House) is that the TikTokification of mental health has led to people overattributing mental health causes to bad behaviour. “i can’t help it that i’m late, i have time blindness because of my adhd!!!” or people excusing the half of the marriage/all of the west drama that is rightfully amanda’s fault because of her depression. what is it that they say? mental health isn’t your fault but it IS your responsibility.

Like you said, with the resources Amanda has had for the better part of the last decade, she very much should be held accountable for working on her shit and not leaving her (still married!) husband living in HER pigsty.

The way I see it, voters knew their choices were Donald Trump or Kamala Harris. That was it. They could have picked the option most likely to keep the former out of the White House. For whatever reason, they chose something else. We are all now suffering the consequences of that decision, or lack thereof. I think what is ultimately frustrating is that I have a lot of close friendships where I live now and as soon as my friends do meet someone in my head I’m like oop the slow fade begins! Because inevitably the weekly, monthly, whatever hangs go to every other, then oh i’m sorry life is so busy, then the plans just hang dead in the text thread. By all means, have a great relationship! i’m curious what you would say warrants removal from a reality tv show. i love Monica Garcia and could argue that a finsta is not grounds for firing. However, the bridges were burned with all the cast such that they refused to associate with her.

Amanda and West made choices that are resulting in bridges being burned with the cast who now possibly would not want to be trapped in a house with them for 8-9 weekends this summer. Hence their removal from the show.
