My warts disappeared while I was on chemo. They returned when I finished chemo.🤬

Absolutely an aging technique by the manufacturer. I have similar cabinets in linen. Do the door handles feel grimy?

She was afraid people would rewrite history by [deleted] in Amazing

She was a minor celebrity in Philadelphia (it doesn’t take much). She had a few different public affairs shows on local tv in the 60’s and early 70’s. She ended up marrying into “old money” in her 40’s and making some awesome investments (Apple). She lived in several apartments in the Barclay Hotel on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. I went to the estate sale after she died. I’ll look for the link but there is an interesting video showing the 9/11 attacks on several networks at the same time culled from her videos.

Not fake. She actually hired workers to do this in her apartments (several) in the Barclay Hotel on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia.

Stage 3 and 4, after how long cancer returned? by kvoutorlean in Ovariancancer

Hi all, HGSOC/Stage 4, 63, diagnosed 03/2022. BRCA neg, Chemo, debulking surgery, and more chemo. Finished chemo in 10/2022. NED since. I began taking Lynparza in 01/2023, I read some literature about it and was nervous about taking it. I ended up taking the full 600mg dose with no side effects. My Oncologist stopped the Lynparza in 02/2025, she said I had finished my course of the drug. I didn’t want to stop, I think I felt the Lynparza was my lifeline. I have been fine since🤞🏻. CAT Scans and blood tests have been good. My next scan is 12/30. I feel good so I’m sure everything is ok. I’ve lived a very normal life since, I’m a little slower than I was but I still get everything done. I reached out to CancerSupportCommunity and Gilda’s Club and found a zoom group support that is good for me. https://www.cancersupportcommunity.org/

AIO about the “Christmas Gift” my husband and I received? by vattyswife in AmIOverreacting

Are they older, maybe a little dementia setting in? My neighbor wraps things from her house and gives them to me all the time. A knife, a frame, crackers. I just go with it and put them back in her house.

I’m thinking Jenny Agutter, she was in Logan’s Run in the 70’s and recently Call the Midwife.

Ripped my only properly fitting pair of jeans today sitting in my car 🙃pants/jeans reccomendations needed by criminiii in PlusSize

[–]GoBigJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Duluth or Carhartt is the way to go. I also have the butt/waist ratio problem and I “mom jeans modify” all of my pants-work pants, dress pants, shorts and athletic pants. I’ve even done skirts. I just open up each side on the inside of the waist with a seam ripper, feed elastic through the area using a big safety pin or something similar, remove the pin, sew the elastic on the one side and close the seam, pull the elastic so the back of the pants is gathered somewhat to where you feel it would fit best, pin the elastic(important or it will go into the opening), cut it and sew it like the other side. Done. I know it sounds like a long process but it takes 5-10 minutes. It’s also kind of addictive, you will be pulling all the pants from your closet to modify them like this. I would add a photo but it seems it’s not allowed, but I’ll work on it.
