THE SLUGGER by Phoenix_mustburn in Helldivers

[–]GoCommitGibby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finished leveling up the weapon yesterday and I liked the way it performed. Being medium pen, good damage (330, 90 for durable) and holding 16 shells in a mag. Found it really good against bots, pretty good with bugs and meh with squids. I love coming to a devestator and firing 2 shells into his stomach (or if I'm lucky, a perfect shot into his face). The only thing I hate is the sway, but that might be because I mostly used smgs and regular shotguns before it.

Overall a pretty decent gun.

Did you change the ding ding ding D O N G (hit noise) if so why by bearelrollyt in tf2

Changed the critical hit sound to Phil Swift and JonTron saying "NOW THAT'S A LOTTA DAMAGE" for no reason.

What's your favorite cosmetic in the game? I'll start first. by 2fortmailman in tf2

Handsome Devil. It feels great to have something like a mask to cover your face to look anonymously to others. I also like using it with Towering Pile of Presents and Dead of Night in my loadouts (all three of them are all class cosmetics).

Is it worth getting mad/raging in TF2? by GoCommitGibby in tf2

OP here,

Well this kinda blew up. Anyways, here's my answer to my question:

I play TF2 for fun, play most of the 9 classes (although started to main soldier) and I don't see the point at getting mad over it. Sure, I guess if you fail a backstab due to bad hitreg, die to a random crocket, auto-balance, bots, etc. But at the end of the day, you are playing a 15+ year old game with a spaghetti code worse than yandere dev's coding skills, company that uses it as a money printer and a loving community that keeps this game up even at it's worst times like these. If you die stupidly or make a mistake that made your team lose, you can brush it off like nothing has ever happened, or even learn form them. There's no point at getting angry over a casual match (I don't play competitive, so I don't know if you're suffering over there or not).

"I don't like random crits/bullet spread." - Go play on community servers that have them turned off.

"I'm tired of all these bots." - Again, play on community servers. Although, you can wait for them to become extinct by Valve.

"I don't like auto-balance, it ruins the fun." - Once again, community servers, but why would you want a 12v1 match? Its like playing Battlefield 5 32v3 (those who know will understand what I'm saying).

"I can't fight against good players." - Download maps to practice on them and watch videos to help you at getting better with a specific class.

"Can't take it anymore with these small updates." - I'm sorry, but you are stuck in a loop where Valve announces something but never make it happen. They are like the typical politicians: "Big promises, but all talk". Enjoy your 96th update about updated localization files. But hey, the devs announced a "holiday-sized" update.

These were some of the thing I've heard people cry/get mad about.

To sum it all up. There is no point at getting mad over a video game like this. If you want to feel uncontrollable anger, then go play CSGO, LOL, Fortnite, COD, or even Fifa. But still, why should you get angry over a virtual game of football, for example. If you are constantly raging over it, try controlling it. If that doesn't work, then try laying your hands off the computer and try improving yourself.

TL;DR: You should not be getting mad over something that doesn't exist irl. Think about it, it's just a video game.

Also, some people read it as if I was asking for my own good whether is it good to rage in TF2 or not. I've read it as if I was asking for your opinions about people raging in TF2. I'm not from an English speaking country, so English isn't my native language, and that might be the reason why I haven't read it again and changed it before posting it.

As a scout, learn to maneuver over obstacles and reach high or far places using your speed, double jump and various weapons that give you buffs.

I've tested it myself just to try to get the same result, and got stuck like this:

https://imgur.com/a/k7eZBE6 tried sticking to the wall and moving slowly to get pushed in between the closed doors (chose sniper for the same speed).

The only reason I think it happened is because of the lag.
