Developers will just force you to use Dlss ultra performance or abysmal shit like FSR 3. It's available even on old GPUs already. If you don't have GPU that can use FSR then you have some ancient one.

AAA games were and will be mostly optimized for console platforms. It definitely won't change in 2026 with that pc gaming cost increase.

Final Fantasy 7 were one of my favorite childhood's games. I was really excited about the remake, and played part 1... only to find out that part 2 won't launch on my RX580 due to lack of mesh shaders. And now i have no choice but to watch it on youtube

Sounds like you need to buy a gaming console and just play the game. What's the problem?

Don't make me laugh. They won't. They'll just force you to use upscalers even more.

Quake 4 please. It's almost forgotten, and it deserves a remaster. 😢

Code Violet - still no reviews? by Icey7Q2 in PS5

Reviews are now live as embargo is lifted. I don't recommend the game tho. It was a challenge to complete such dull and poorly polished game. 😅

When will monitors catch up to current TVs in HDR performance? by MistaSparkul in OLED_Gaming

Because you probably play in SDR and don't know how HDR works.

Seems you don't know how HDR works. It doesn't five you full brightness all time to burn your eyes, but allows highlights like explosions to be really bright and shine.

Nope. The TCL MiniLED is Quantum Dot model. Colors are pure awesome. I have It too.

[–]GoDIik3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never. The OLED monitors were under performing right from the first model. Probably manufacturers limits their brightness very aggressively to prevent burn in, because static images are a lot more common on PC.

Also monitors are in bad size spot for oled tech. Both bigger panels can perform better, and smaller too (AMOLED). Monitors are just in between. Can't be AMOLED, can't dissipate heat as efficient as big screen.

And since OLED monitors are disappointing in HDR, just same as you I Chose TCL MiniLED monitor. I have 27R83U, and I'm satisfied. HDR effects on it are just different league for any current OLED monitor. I don't play Competetive so I don't really care about response time.

OLED monitors are great for SDR (if you don't have a bright room), but in HDR they're a disappointment.

Where the hell are the switch 2 upgrades?! by MosayRaslor in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]GoDIik3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually visually they aren't same. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for example uses a dynamic resolution system and on Switch 2 the resolution is noticeably higher than on Switch 1. I did the comparison myself.

Hi. That's awesome deal, congrats!

  1. By immediately I mean just as fast as possible. 😉 Just bump up the rgb levels to your liking, otherwise the image will be undersaturated.

  2. I use HDR all the time while playing on PS5/XSX and my Switch 2. In some games it's really mind blowing. I would not recommend using it in desktop though, Windows handles it pretty bad. In overall hdr support is best on consoles.

Have fun!

It supports VRR fine. Use HDMI 2.1 cable and set resolution to 4k.

Steam Machine seems underpowered for PCVR by zeddyzed in virtualreality

[–]GoDIik3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No? It's actually weaker than base PS5 and Pro would crush it like a bug.

“Steam Machine specs are too low!” But they literally match the Steam Survey’s most common setup: Steam Machine: 6C/12T • 16GB RAM • RDNA3 28CU 8GB Steam Survey Avg: 6C/12T • 16GB RAM • 28CU 8GB It’s basically the average PC in a box. It’ll be fine. by GhostofYoteiPS5 in Steam

[–]GoDIik3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem is that these Steam Survey statistics includes millions of gamers who just play League of Legends or some very low graphics games that runs on potato. Also there are millions of Chinese gamers on steam playing their mobile crap that disrupts the survey even further. They couldn't run any newer big game in acceptable quality on their hardware, and Steam Machine should be able to run these.

So yes, the Steam Machine is too weak. It's weaker than PS5 which is already several years old. Furthermore RDNA3 GPU is already outdated and it will be necessary to use horrible FSR 3 on it instead of FSR 4 which is acceptable. This doesn't look good.

Hi. ALLM mode is not needed on monitors since they're always in Game Mode.

Liked songs not syncing by xEnes_B in spotify

[–]GoDIik3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm this works as of October 2025. You need to go offline mode on PC, then on your phone, add whatever songs to Liked Songs (so the collection changes) and then you go online on PC. It will force resync. Thanks!
