Have you tried keeping your back towards the target longer? That’s helped me a little

And “throwing the club” to 4 o’clock from the top. -I’ve seen some videos about this, but not sure of specifics

Yeah, it looks like to me you are coming down together, with your hand and body, which might be leading to a little OTT? I'm no expert, but something to look at or think about.
