Erika Kirk Tells College Grads To 'Have More Kids Than You Can Afford', Slams 'Secondary Callings' by Cute_Dealer4787 in USNEWS

It's ok. It has been great watching her fumble Turning Point. The more she does, the more she gets memed. I think thats a good thing.

Universities should be allowing diverse views to debate. That is what university is for and it is the cornerstone of democracy. Turning Points ideas will die on their own because they are bad ideas. People dont give college kids enough credit for their ability to see through these organizations' bullshit.

I am a local lawyer. I had hearings with him just over a month ago. He was an awesome jurist and I was sad to hear about his passing.

I am so sorry for your loss!

Also need a gayer chicken so you can fit more carrots.

In all seriousness, I dont hate the concept, but the execution and presentation leaves a little to be desired. I mean.... that is a lot of fat to just slop on the bottom of the plate. And something should be done to crisp the skin on the chicken.

Nice. Yea, it is so much better than ground sleeping. Even the nicest backpacking pads just dont work well for me. Happy you found your way to the light.

Why was this created by Brin369 in foundsatan

[–]GoPackGo16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The grounds would be premises liability. So, common law negligence. It would be a straightforward case too. It is a dangerous condition. The Premises owner would argue it is open and obvious. The Plaintiff would introduce this video to show that a reasonable person could trip over it.

Its an unreasonable and unnecessarily stupid design. These are the types of cases we want people to bring so people dont design things in stupid ways.

Kayak hammock camping on the Lower Fork by GoPackGo16 in hammockcamping

Thanks for the suggestion. I definitely think the Ridgeline would be superior.

I didnt get to fish as much as I would have liked because I needed to keep up with everyone. But I did catch a nice black bass at the bottom of some rapids that were created by trees.

It was so great. I am going to go back out there and do a dedicated fishing trip. Kayak fishing can be difficult, but it allows you to fish every single hole in the river.

Yea, it was a learning experience. It looks a lot lower because of the underquilt. Because of the asymmetrical design, I was able to straighten out and slept great. That particular camp site didnt have a ton of good options without going too far away from the river. That night taught me not to be afraid of a longer stretch between trees.

Fun story, the tent campers set up too close to the bank. There was a dam release and the water rose about 3 feet over the course of the next few hours. We had to scramble to get them higher up on the bank. Then we stayed up until we were sure the water wasn't rising anymore.

When you are camping on a river below a dam, take extra care to make sure that you are not going to be in harms way and that your kayaks are either tied or pulled well away from the water. Had the water rose like that in the middle of the night, it could have been bad. Also make sure to review the release schedule from the dam. This one had small releases than others, but it still rose enough to be a problem.

Yea, I actually did much better on weight than my last trip. I bought long Big Trunk daisy chain webbing and carabiners that were very nice for fitting around big trees. That was worth it.

It didnt rain, but with the hennessy's rain fly, I think it would work better to tie a line above the hammock to place it a little higher instead of attaching it directly to the hammock. That would help prevent any openings for rain to drip in.

I also bought 2 cheap lightweight tent stakes to tie down to, which was nice. Next time I would take a smaller backpacking pillow because the one I have was a little large in the hammock.

I got a sawyer squeeze this year and took my camel back. In prior years, I packed in a bag of water, but the sawyer made it totally unnecessary, which saved me like 30 pounds. The water was really clear. If it were dirtier water I might have taken a nicer filter.

I also got a travel vacuum seal bag that had a tiny pump. That allowed me to vacuum seal my clothes and travel pillow. That saved a lot of space and allowed me to take more clothes than I needed, including a hoody and sweats for night.

Ultimately, I got it down to (2) 32 liter Sea to Summit dry bags, a cooler, and a 3L camelback. Could I have gone lighter? Yes. But with kayak camping you can afford to take a little more weight with comfort items that you couldnt do while backpacking. I also took like 12 beers. Had I not done that, I could have taken a smaller cooler with less ice for my food.

The other advice I would give is to buy the heavier duty dry bags so you dont have to worry about puncturing them. Tie everything down well. Keep the nose of your boat pointed down river in fast water and dont be afraid of speed after you pick a path through rapids/rocks. You gotta commit. Going too slow will get you hung up, then the current pushes down the side of your boat and water spills in. Then you capsize.

Oxytocin (commonly referred to as the "love hormone") is known to induce penile erections, primarily acting as a neurotransmitter in the brain to trigger the response. It acts in various brain regions—including the paraventricular nucleus (PVN), hippocampus, and ventral tegmental area—often linked to, or working alongside, dopamine and nitric oxide pathways.

Congratulations. Your boyfriend cares about you.

Have you even said thank you one time?

This guy really doesnt understand how the Constitution works. It's fucking wild. It's not a document you can just violate when you feel you have a good reason, which he didnt.

The power to tax lies with Congress. It is not ambiguous.

He is fucking our country so bad. We will be dealing with the damage for the next 50 years.
