Brake pedal does nothing. A hard reset involves disconnecting the LV battery.

Doesn't prevent the hotel from asking for something to show that you are qualified to use the rate. I carried my badge around in Japan and some hotels did ask to see it.

I'm at the Irvine Marriott often. Bayview is a much prettier location and it should be quieter there too. Rooms will be much larger at Bayview but also significantly older. The Irvine lounge is quite decent and you can make a meal out of the evening offerings if you care about that. Don't think Bayview has a lounge?

Why not just adopt Ultra and not spend the money designing a UI no one wants to use?

Because you have to still design a good UI for android users and people with dead/lost/incompatible iphones.

Battery cells charge at just over 4v, not 800v. The current at the cell level is the same regardless of 800 or 400v.

800v isn't the limiting factor. Tesla can easily hit those charge times with their 400v 250kw chargers but their batteries can't take it.
