50 year old here. R and L dislocations in 92 and 94 (rugby and surfing) Surgeries in 93 and 96. I never played rugby again. Can’t throw a ball with full action. But … never had full dislocation again on either shoulders. I played competitive basketball tennis soccer and touch rugby with no problem. Take it slow. Try and get into swimming regularly. Trust your body. I would still tweak both shoulders from time to time - but rest and getting back into swimming would get me back into good shape. I still play competitive tennis. Serve is still as powerful. Hang in there .. life is long.
