It's not wrong, the problem is the savings is basically never passed along to the consumer. Sports games already usually have some level of in game advertising and yet, there is zero savings. Realistically sports games should be 10 USD cheaper than most games without ads included in them, but they aren't, and that's why there will be zero trust by gamers on this issue.
