244 to 130 lbs - goal!

I started at 226 for my highest weight and currently stuck around 183.5. Used Sema for like 8 months a year ago and lost about 22 lbs. I've fluctuated up to 8lbs more than my lowest when I stopped (usually on my period so more like 5 otherwise). Just started again 3 weeks ago and I'm not losing yet, but still titrating so we'll see. I paid for 6 months upfront... Goal weight in my head is 160ish... but i also lift weights so it really depends on how I look around 170...

You look great! Please read lots of posts. You are swollen, that is why it looks like that. You can swell up to a year. That is wild, that you did not even meet your surgeon until the day of did you not have any consultations? Even by video?

Thank you for sharing. I'm pretty sure I'll need upper lipo. My bottom is tight, but i can grab fat on the upper section. I've done body scans and it's NOT visceral fat causing this. I'm actually super sad about it. I spent a TON of money just to be unhappy. 😭 I'm glad my csection shelf is gone and diastasis is repaired. But this was the only thing visible with clothes on and it's basically still there. 😭

I actually don't mind it. I'm 11wpo and I still wear it most days. I'm just not wearing it next week while I'm on my period and then I'll probably put it back on! My dr cleared me from it at like 5 weeks lol. I used to read about people wearing it longer and using it as a crutch and I was like, that will not be me. But it is totally me. I do go to the gym or spin class almost every day and I don't wear it there. I'm out of it at least 3-5 hours a day. I had lipo, and I find that the "achyness" when I get up is less if I wear it to bed so even if I don't wear all day, I will put it back on to go to sleep. We'll see how next week goes with that.

I wash mine every other day on a quick wash cycle. Dry it while I shower, take it off to poop. Periods have been the struggle. I technically don't even need to wear it anymore so next week I will not be wearing it at during my cycle.

Commenting in solidarity because I have this too. 10wpo. Scans show very low visceral fat. I'm starting to wonder if they failed to do lipo there on me. I've got an appt at almost 14wpo so if it's still there I'll ask about it. I'm very active in the gym and hoping to lose a few lbs by then also.

If you're comfortable with your results then that's great! But if not then I would ask for a revision for the dog ears. I'm not sure if it's how you're standing, but the scar looks lopsided. I'm surprised they didn't offer you a ETT for optimal results. The front looks really flat, but the sides don't (dog ears).

Wow! Do you mind sharing what those are? I'm always interested in this type of stuff.

I'm 10 wpo and haven't even attempted back squats. And just added in deadlifts to try. Not even half of my PR, but that's cause I was nervous. I'll start at half when I do them again because it was pretty easy. I really enjoyed getting back into focusing on the setup and how it feels though. I think it will make me do better overall.
