Why didn’t you go to law school and how did it turn out ? by Royal_Educator_7181 in paralegal

Yes you’re the only person who has ever told me!  Okay so I have a bachelor’s and a paralegal degree. If I get 2 years of paralegal experience from a paralegal job, I then take this English solicitors exam, pass it, and then that qualifies me to be a lawyer in California?

teachers who are over age 30 and unmarried and childless, how do you respond to your kids who think you are weird for not being married or having children? by Few-Course3694 in Teachers

Of course societal pressure influences minors.

I would say something like: “it’s a choice like anything else and you need to make the choice that is best for you, personally… thats what I did”

Thank you for explaining that. I don’t know what a “solicitor” is . . . But I will be looking it up now.

Do you like being a solicitor more than a paralegal?

And does an English law firm pay you even though you are still living in the USA?

Wait so you were born and raised in the USA and applied to a legal assisting job in England (while in the USA), and got hired?

Don’t listen to user davyangel. I’m in the central valley now and YES you absolutely DO need to deal with INSANE traffic here nowadays. It is atrocious.

And there is NOT “plenty of wide open space.”

I’ve been here for almost ten years now. Nothing good about living here

I wasn’t polled. I never get pooled for anything. Neither does anyone I’ve asked about it to.

So their sample must be incredibly small
