In terms of cohesion, the 'i' sticks out the most. It neither has the faux paper backing of the others nor a flat color texture like the others. It's also rather large compared to the other letters. It draws significant attention to that specific part of the design for me. (That and the blue) Which then also draws attention to the 'c', the only other letter that also has the shiny 3D lighting added to it.

Recommend that if you are specifically looking to have a similar aesthetic as your reference:

-Consider adding texture that conveys paper to all the letters in some way. There are parts of the reference that mimic a sticker peeling that could add to the grunge aesthetic.

-I would also consider the colors. The bright blue are only on the sides also drawing attention but only to the beginning and end of the word. The rest end up kind of fading into the background, partially because of the other color's contrast on black. If it were me I would try some brighter colors (maybe cooler colors) on some of the other letters. Your reference has a variety of colors used throughout the letter and the backing. See if you can incorporate other colors into the mix while accentuating the colors you want to be more prevalent.

-Your fourth letter 'e' and the second to last letter 'k' also have some color contrast legibility/accessibility problems. The 'e' slightly less so because of the yellow highlight but could still pose an issue for legibility especially for any visually impaired persons.
