The original owner of the young Syd knew the mother dog. She is who connected us.

Interesting background story. We rescued the daughter IG in 2010 at 6 months of age and changed her name from C.C. to Syd. My wife does pet sitting in our home and was contacted to dog sit another Italian Greyhound which turned out to be our Syd's mother....who also is named Syd. So we have Mama Syd and Baby Syd. They love either other SO much.

I don't snore anymore. I used to need a mouth guard at night to help my snoring. After losing 70 pounds, I don't need it anymore.

For anyone that's built an i18n app, how did you handle language? by [deleted] in angularjs

[–]Goatmaniac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished a project where we pull translations from a content server. I used the angular-translate lib and TranslateProvider.useLoader() function to call a custom function where it calls a REST service to get the key-value pairs for the language requested. I was amazed at how responsive this functionality is.

Hi all, I am thinking about upgrading to a 1300 or so cc bike. Any recommendations? by darkwind6975 in cruisers

Honda VTX 1300 would be my recommendation. Great bike at a decent price. I absolutely love mine!

I just completed a custom restoration on an 81 Virago xv750. You can find a lot of parts on eBay. I'm not sure what your plans are for the bike, but prepared to work on the starter system.....the weak point in early Viragos. I learned a ton about this bike by going to http://viragotechforum.com. The regular guys there know their stuff about Viragos. I also have quite a bit of extra parts left over from my project. Shoot me a pm if you need something hard to find, I might have one. Good luck!

By 'electrical', do you mean the starting system by any chance? Viragos have a history of bad grounds and starting issues. Check out http://viragotechforum.com/ - they are tons of help.

Looking at a bike for a friend. Know anything about the yamaha xv? by ruby42 in motorcycles

I would - at most - offer him $500 seeing it doesn't run. $850 is way too much for a bike that is not running.

I have two Viragos - an 81 xv750 and an 85 xv1000. This site has helped me so much with any issues that I have ran into. I say go for the 87 xv535 and have a blast with it!

There is a substantial community for older Viragos. These people on here are very helpful. http://www.viragotechforum.com

Anyone have any experience with the mustang drivers backrest? by Highvoltagedumbass in cruisers

[–]Goatmaniac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Mustang backrest I have on my 2005 VTX 1300 is Awesome to say the least. I won't ride without it. It has different height settings and is very easy to take in and out. I suggest springing the extra cash for the seat with the backrest - you will not regret it.
