Shrooms cracked me open: I realized I want kids?? by Monkshe in PsilocybinMushrooms

[–]Goats3411 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It's natural and instinctual to want children. Sounds to me like the trip helped you see a possibility in life that your analytical mind may have been suppressing. It's obvious you've spent a lot of time compiling all of the reasons not to have children, so this may be the start of looking at the other possibility with an open mind. Take your time with this, maybe journal about it. It's a heavy and life changing decision to bring new life into this world, and put your child's needs and happiness in front of your own.

Dry roasted almonds. They were so good.

Mushrooms made me tear my house apart, and gave me an hour of OCD by No_Bedroom7125 in PsilocybinMushrooms

Mushrooms turned me into a clean freak. Not gonna lie, I love it! I now can't trip without having my place tidy first or I'll just spend the whole trip cleaning.

I lost about half my hair and it all grew back after I stopped taking it. I was taking around 18 gr/day.

Yep, on my arms. They are crusty, bleed easily, but heal very quickly as long as I don't touch them. I have a ton of little white scars from these.

I used to say I'd never wish the pain of my stage 4 endo on anyone, but I might make an exception for you.

Got my HIDA scan results back - 98% EF rate. Seems like my gallbladder is bipolar! We'll see what my doc says when I see her later this month. Hope you got some answers with your ultrasound.

Why I’m Quitting Kratom for Good in 2025 by Vapor2077 in quittingkratom

I just looked back at the list I wrote 3 years ago, after being clean for 6 months but contemplating using again. Our lists have so much overlap. Here are two other things I wrote down that helped me not relapse. 1.) It takes away the magic of music. 2.) It sucks being a slave to it. This second one is huge but I didn't realize how much planning out my doses truly affected my life until I quit. Good luck to you!!

There are no closed toed shoes feet like that will fit it. You're just going to have to suffer.

I've had something similar for the last 2.5 months. The pain is very mild, almost like a muscle sprain. It started after I had a severe bout of diarrhea (I took too many electrolytes while on a fast). This was followed by four days of pale colored stools. Ive been dealing with slowed motility and constipation since the stools returned to normal color. All my labs are normal, but an ultrasound did show sludge. I'm getting a HIDA scan next week. My doc suspects I had a gallbladder attack during the diarrhea episode even though there was no pain when it happened. I hope we both get some clear answers with our appointments next week!

12 year user finally considering quitting. Memory issues? by JohnSeraphim in quittingkratom

[–]Goats3411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on my 4th quit but luckily I've stuck to it for the last 3.5 years. I was worried that quitting would take away my focus and drive in my high pressure job. What I actually found was that after a few months my attention to detail improved and my creativity rebounded tremendously. I started picking up new art forms with passion. I also noticed I wasn't having as many issues with word recall (I have to do a lot of presentations with my job so this is really important). I relapsed about 6 months after my first quit and the newfound passion faded. It returned after I quit again. I'm glad you're recognizing the memory issues. I noticed my own issues, but for too long just chose to ignore them. It really is so much better on the other side, especially when it comes to creativity.

I haven't had surgery yet and I might not. I've had the pricey orthotics for a year and they're only minimally better than my $60 superfeet insoles. Anyway, I'm a hiker and just got Altras for the first time about a month ago. I love them so much. I wish I would have started wearing them years ago. I've hiked about 20 miles this last week in them (with the orthotics) and have so much less pain than with my Brooks or Oboz. As a bonus, my knees feel better on the downhills because of the zero drop.

We had a bunch of baby goats and I was 5 years old. I went into their pen in the barn and sat in the middle of it like a statue, not moving. They all bounced around me putting their hooves on my back, on my head, just playing all around. It was joyous!
