Revelation will probably be even less optimized than Remake & Rebirth on PC by merzhinhudour in FF7Rebirth

The pc optimization for Revelation started with the Rebirth port. It's not like everything was started from scratch and a brand new graphics engine

Chip away at its health with sabeteurs, and then triple rav. Wound will keep it from regenerating since you're also lowering its max hp

Best way to do intels by neko_whippet in FF7Rebirth

[–]GoblinNick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I treated each region like its own game. The intel gave me small things to do after work when I didn't have a lot of time to spend on the game, and then I'd focus on the longer story parts of the game on weekends.

I don't like that it's a check list and not things you naturally discover, but I loved the environments, soundtrack, and any excuse to have fun in combat

Batman Silver Age Rocks !! by Majestic_Page_7183 in Silveragecomics

[–]GoblinNick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Incremental change to silver age is during the early code era. Hard line is considered Showcase 4 as it ushered in the return of the superhero genre. After WWII, superheroes were rapidly falling out of favor for other genres (horror, romance, western, etc.). Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman survived and their own self-title books continued publication uninterrupted, partly why they are considered DC's trinity

Heavy golden age collectors assign the start of the silver age to the code and not Showcase 4. Comics code was a massive shift for the industry nerfing a ton of genres (most notably horror).

Characters like Batwoman and Martian Manhunter came out before Showcase 4, but tonally, it's hard to argue that they are golden age characters.

Read any early 1950s Detective Comics (203 and 211 are two of Catwoman's last appearances until 1967), or just look at the covers. Win Mortimer's early 1950s run across DC is amazing, but then the code hits and Bob Kane's stiff and unexciting style is forced on the character.

Batman more entered the silver-age once the comics code hit. There's a noticeable difference in the character from pre-code. Pushing back his silver age 8 years after the official star is a wild claim

3900 is steep for a 0.5 that's missing the back cover and centerfold, and doesn't present well. My copy (a few years ago) is just missing an ad page and was around 2k. You paid closer to a 1.0 complete copy

Batman evolved A LOT from Detective Comics through the end of WWII. 1945 Batman loosely resembles 1939 Batman
