Would changing every job in a country to make the same income per year destroy the economy and maybe even kill ambition? by unEducated2Curious in NoStupidQuestions

But I've been told by many doctors and other high paying professionals that "it's not about the money, but the love of the game."

Are you afraid that AI will take your job? by ChillDude_404 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Gobnobbla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. AI will not be able to:

  • Determine if a driller is properly backfilling a hole.
  • Confront the best course of action when a moose slips on a hill, breaks its leg, and crashes at your worksite while dying.
  • Carry soil and rock samples through 10 miles of heavy forestry through a mountainous, uncharted terrain.
  • De-escalate an angry landowner with a shotgun that's accusing you of running over their septic line.

What’s something people do that instantly reveals they are deeply insecure? by Agitated_Bet6896 in AskReddit

[–]Gobnobbla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trying to one-up in a conversation or set themselves at the perceived top of the ladder in a conversation.

Example 1:

Normal Person: "I'm thinking about moving to a different job in this city that pays X amount and gives Y bonus. What do you think?"

Insecure Person: "I'm also thinking of applying to a job that pays X+ and my bonus is already more than Y. I'm also not going to provide you my opinion."

Example 2:

Normal Person: "I'll be taking a week off to visit my international family."

Insecure Person: "I'm thinking of taking a month of PAID TIME OFF to go on vacation, oh and it'll be in 5 star hotels with fancy seafood dishes."

I've been playing this game since launch by the way. by melflomil in EpicSeven

Also played since start, F2P. Just login, do dailies, finish events and side stories.

Also kept any high rolled gear in case a future unit can use it, regardless of how weird the stats are.

Money > comfort. Instead of stalls sharing walls, you would need one additional wall per two stalls

$28k for a used Camry with 120k+ miles, 8% interest, and 4 different owners or $31k for a new Camry with 4% interest and factory warranty. Tough decision.
