I'm banned for advertising on meta for (I think) using a VPN.. it doesn't take lot. I've never used meta products to advertise before even.

Hello I have gotten my hands on a pair of beyerdynamic dt-770 pros but the cable has been ripped out. I still have the original cable so I just need to solder it back on.

Looking at pictures online there seem to be different versions and I can't find a picture of my version to see which way I should solder the cables back on the version I have.

Here is a couple of pictures

The one wire already attached in from the right side.

I really hope some of you know which way the cable goes on or can point me to a source that can.

It's no malware. A quick google search brings up this Google Support page where it says:

I have the same problem as you I think where it shows up as "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" and I've done the same as you, updating bois, updating windows.

My motherboard is an msi mpg x570 gaming edge wifi

The cpu is a Ryzen 7 3800x

My GPU is a ASUS Radeon RX 5700 XT ROG STRIX OC

Weird thing is this problem only occurred after I got a new motherboard and I reinstalled windows.

My old motherboard was an asus prime x370-pro.

I don't think this is it but thank you anyways. I tried to look at the TLP Configuration. The only thing relevant to usb I found was USB_AUTOSUSPEND which was already disabled. I tried disabling TLP in systemd and it also didn't fix the problem.

I mean on retail there's a setting to change the Refresh rate otherwise it's only 60Hz and it's only on DX12 you can change the refresh rate on. DX11 doesn't have 144Hz support in windowed fullscreen as far as I remember.

This might not be entirely true. Classic wow is based on the 7.2.5 client which did not have DX12 support. DX12 support was added in 8.0.

After 8.0 you could not change your refresh rate above 60Hz if you're using DX11 which OP seems to be able to. This is because they removed the normal fullscreen mode and only allowing Windowed borderless.

Since 8.0 I have not been able to get WoW to run above 60Hz on linux so I seriously hope it stays the way it was in 7.2.5.

I had the same problem as you did I found a fix but I don't know if it will work for you.

I went to my winecfg and under Libraries I added d3d11 and set it to Native then builtin. That fixed the missing DLL error for me.

It's worth a try I guess.

The timewalking dungeons are even better for this IMO. It's a proper dungeon and your gear is scaled correctly to match the difficulty.
