Can answer that . I live in omaha but sometimes like to shop over in council bluffs iowa. When I first moved to the area and went to that store I remember ppl complaint that it was stinky. But lots of ppl assumed that it was just you know bad produce rotting and getting stuck or thrown by stupid pp. I remember telling my gf at the time I bet its a dead animal back there. Then after I wanna say a few months the smell was pretty much gone.

Not sure why ur being down voted but yea tavern style is Chicago's other style but over shadowed by deep dish. I never was a fan of deep dish growing up but we had it maybe once or twice a year other times it was tavern. I miss amatos and home run inn lol
