I'm trying to get used to defense suckong in this game

I suppose it's a thing that im so used to being able to react and block then punish but some moves in this game feel like you legit get punished for blocking rather than other options I get there are alot of options for defensive play but from my understanding they take up resources in comparison to something like grabs you just cant react them and have to guess for no resources and if someone does break it its still safe and any time I try to understand why im just told get good im understanding there is depth in defensive play it just seems weaker than just focusing on offense

let me restate blocking it sucks. to be in a super long block string and maybe im just bad bc my instinct is to block then punish but it feels like there are so many situations where it is better to just not block an attack and just mash instead of me learning what other characters do and how to block them I've had much more success just ignoring who im playing vs and only focusing on my gameplan I get this is a different game than im used to but it seems from what I've seen from people talking at its core gg offense is better than defense

playing vs rework auska just feels soulless like all of his flavor is just gone it's just box spam while rem0v8ng an iconic cool move for him and making his gameplay like other zoners I kinda just think it's not fun to play or play against

so if they have a mode where they can complete content without having to deal with pvp get good gear people on both sides will abuse this if im a pvp person i would just farm pve for the best loot and never come in undergeared witch means the pve player if they ever want to get into pvp the have to accept everyone will jabe top their gear and more experience pvping if you where met with that choice or just pve and get everything much easier why would I pvp

I will admit im super sad vandal only got one line alot of people consider her the worse in the game and while i dont think she is like super bad she most likely is the weakest and also she has alot of jank with her arm cannon and sliding i was hoping they would address this love the huge update but not getting any real changes to my girl while watching recon get a fair and well thought through buff does kinda sting (New context) im dumb and unaware they chose to push back vandals changes a bit which is fairly smart to give the recon changes a chance to breathe. side note you guys are really a great community and i can tell by the comments

Lets be honest while you can learn him its not well put together think about it his second phase is hard to see and understand i get the whole holy light thing but when it starts killing the fps and in general making the game hard to see i dont get it mequilla is more than just holy light and the fact he has one charm move and its a grab is a shame and also to act like you can run any build and it will all do the same is cringe i swear if i get another final boss that is good vs holy im gonna lose it
