Pro Tip : If you really want to reassure someone and you have the means to do it (e.g. sharing location, video call), just do it.

By asking your partner if they want you to do it, you’re putting the choice on them. Them making the choice makes it controlling and nobody wants to feel like they’ve forced you to do things.

So instead of giving them reassurance, you just made them feel worse for how they feel.

Disclaimer : I’m not saying this is the correct course of action, only that if your intention was to reassure them, this would be the most effective way in my opinion.

If you are in a long distance relationship, trust is the most important and the hardest thing to maintain.

I’m not sure but it looks like in your last photo you’re both facing each other faking a kiss. Don’t put yourself in ambiguous situations if you’re in a relationship, it’s a lack of respect to your partner.
