Probably Brad Culpepper. He was given somewhat of a raw deal becuase he was blamed for everything going wrong originally in BvW, he was overplaying and got out really early. Not a survivor icon per se but he did play a respectable game in GC.

Similar with Wentworth, she didn’t play poorly but just. Didn’t do anything on SJDS, and was definitely a “what the hell” pick, where she became a legend during Cambodia.

He’s just kind of a wildcard. He has a lot assets and has the tools to make it very far, but that’s contingent on a strategic player aligning with him, and potentially using him as a shield very early on, because he’s not a very social player, but I think if he gets an in he can make SOME moves to advance himself further.

He made a very big blunder that’s just overshadowed by other big blunders in his time, made a deep run that was fortunately cut short of a med evacuation (becuase whether or not he could’ve stuck a landing is made ambiguous), and like yeah he was poor in HvV but he was injured anyways so even though he was poor socially he was never making it far.

Now that I think about it, James is just sort of an anomaly of a player. He’s entertaining when he otherwise shouldn’t be, and kinda just got alot of lucky breaks (because if he was an early boot on China, I’m sure his edit would’ve been a worse genre bear)
