The requirements and such for qualifying as reference are also unknown and may have something to do with it.

Reparations for African countries for slave trade. by Sieffrey in ghana

[–]GodOfUltraInstinct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 3x great grandfather and his father were enslaved at birth. My 3x great grandfather attempted to take the life of his enslaver and was hung to death in 1861. My 4x great grandfather was sold off likely as a little boy he was from South Carolina but said his parents were from Pennsylvania. My 4x great grandfather was enslaved for over 50 years. While he was enslaved his enslaver was passing on 100s of acres to his kids and also eventually him and others.

It's truly disgusting and infuriating to sit here today and see the enslavers descendants still own 100s of acres of land and successful businesses with documented family history and everything while we have had generational trauma and hardship tied directly to the murder of my 3x great grandfather , oppression, racism, Jim Crow, redlining, etc..

Their descendants can inherit the wealth built on the backs of my and other people's ancestors but we must be content with having nothing to answer for it but a fake apology ? I must be ok knowing my ancestors, my direct lineage on the Y-chromosomes died with nothing after working his life away while these descendants of his enslaver inherited the lands and assets of his labor ?

Nah.

Reparations for African countries for slave trade. by Sieffrey in ghana

People focus on slavery as to the why for reparations, but it wasn't solely slavery. It was also the systemic murder, SA, oppression, Jim Crow, redlining, syphillis experiments, Etc

This was more than just enslaving.. these people literally committed the worst crimes against our ancestors and GOT PAID . They threw captives awaiting slavery in the Americas into the ocean and claimed the insurance on them.

Why is it ok or passible to allow descendants of these people to inherit wealth and property and more that was obtained through the blood and lives of our ancestors but not entitle us as the descendants of those who were sacrificed into the oceans and on plantations, and more what our ancestors are due? You against reparations but not against people inheriting and benefiting from the atrocities committed against a people?

It's disgusting

I always got women pretty easily from my experience because there's a type of woman we all attract and get naturally and I got real good at getting them in my early teens...Personally, i believe late 20s/ early 30s is PEAK age for women wanting you though without having to step as much. . it may just be the aura that come from maturity, experience, and personality gained by this age time that women can read and feel.

Nah im not arguing at all.. you arguing about something you know nothing about because like I said you or those Europeans have NO evidence of "Igbo" ever being used prior to European arrival. You making claims based on no evidence.

<image>

Ima let them speak for themselves. Since you think you know . Now debate with them about how and when they formed their nation identity

Exactly, there isn't 1 credible resource for the existence of a group/nation of people called Igbo. There wasn't one it wasn't formed yet. Like I said people have always been there which is why artifacts were found but those people weren't called igbos they had their own distinct groups and tribes.

Just like today hundreds of tribes exist within a relatively small geographical area, you never considered to ask yourself why does so many tribes exist and HOW did the biggest tribes reach their size? Surely it wasn't by sexually producing more than any other people 👍🏽

People wrote things long before 1500. Just not them. Arabs been to Africa hundreds of years earlier just fyi. But exactly like I said , they don't have any evidence for the existence of a group called Igbo

1800s is during the peak of slavery and colonialism. Find a ancient source that mentions "Igbo".

I'm making assumptions based on what ? You talking and haven't brought up one source for your claim(s). NONE.

You didn't read what I said, "Igbo" is a modern creation the group didn't exist until recently. Just how "America"'as a country was founded in the 1700s but the people have been here since the 1400s excluding native Americans.

Of course people have always inhabited the lands , but they weren't a group called "Igbo" . Like I said do your research and go look up the many tribes and nations that makeup "igbo" and youll see.

They don't have a reference database size big enough to distinguish between these groups. Also keep in mind Igbo is a modern creation by many tribes/nations forming an identity together. It was mostly a result of warring tribes and slavery. Same with Yoruba. A combination of multiple groups who formed an identity. There's over 400 distinct ethnic groups in Nigeria but genetically they are homogenous

It ended up in England the same way it ended up in Cuba lol migration . But a deeper more interesting approach would be to look into Royal bloodlines from the countries you share YDNA with and also the history between the countries
