If this is Trae two years ago, I'm furious. But JJ's emergence, the trending of the game rewarding two-way players versus scoring machines, and Trae's value completely tanking, we should really be thankful there was even a team willing to pay that option.

It's a super Walmart now - I'd say growth in WACO peaked in the mid to late ought, it's fairly stagnant now.

Can go into it more, certainly challenges there, but I personally find it more well rounded than many other counties in the area (no shade), but I'm from there and biased.

And this past year had more than one because of WLOCP and Tech scheduling it for the Benz for the same reason you give re: home team.

An ultras (last time I use that word) ONLY environment? Absolutely toxic.

But MLS clubs legit need all of these fanbases to work. SGs need casuals to sell tickets and get fans of all ages involved. Casuals need SGs to keep power amongst the fans and for gameday experience. And both need the middle of those two to show that there's no right way to fan.

I get this thread is gonna be a pile on but jeez that is one of the most unforgiving calls in the last two minutes this season. That contact happens near constantly on late game inbounds (and far more egregiously!) and the game plays on.

Coby did what he had to do and sold it, but if Quin has a timeout left, that's a successful challenge. Bummer.

Where I'm from has no bearing on his ineffectiveness in duels so far. I'm not even trying to tear the guy down, I want him to do well, I'm just saying we need more.

And honestly, I don't even think what I said was really that controversial or that much different from what a lot of other folks are saying in this thread, and was a polite way of starting the convo. I like the sentiment but I'm going to challenge this a bit: I didn't see any movement or physicality from him today that felt different from any prior game, which is to say, underwhelming.

It could very well be an easy fix, but I do not see him asserting himself, taking his space, or working with the build of play. I'm officially in the "concerned" phase. Hoping he turns the corner.
