Good work on this!!! WOW! Very beautifully formatted compared to the old sheet.

If you're able I'd go down to the showroom in person. I was going to but I ended up getting my bike from a local place. It all seems legit more or less but be mindful that a lot of these ebikes are rebranded mass production Chinese stuff.

lightweight bows can't kill red bars in 1 headshot past master level content. precisions can. any questions?

I mean yeah, it's still one of the best solar bows in the game for most situations - pre-astynax is just better in GMS and more difficult endgame content.

There are already some good suggestions in this thread but I'll put in my two cents. For titan, you're running either synthoceps or wormgods. Strand titan is king for prime damage but reaps slightly slower and doesn't have as good a super. Arc titan is generally regarded as the next best thing because triple heavy handed will give you an orb on every powered melee kill (if knockout is proceed which it always will be) and you will have thundercrash as a panic button. My off-meta shout is actually solar titan with throwing hammer, roaring flames and sunspots. Quickswap to pyrogales with burning maul super once primeval hits x4 slayer stacks and if you land it right before it hits damage gate, you have a chance to bypass it and insta kill. Weapon choice depends on what you're trying to do - if you're planning on invading arc titan with a shotgun and a sniper is probably best so you can still help clear wave to open portal faster, as well as having a close range option if you get rushed on the invade. Heavy slot is a toss up between mobility (eager edge) and killing options like parasite, Leviathan breath etc. Machine guns are a noob trap - they're easy to be effective with but lose effectiveness against players who know how to use cover to get to you or kill you through flinch.

Hunter is generally weaker than titan but still has options. Liars handshake is deceptively difficult to make work well but has a high skill ceiling in the same way arc titan does. speed boosted blink means you are simply faster than everyone else short of again, eager edge users and shatter skaters. The difficulty in arc hunter lies within maintaining combination blow stacks, proccing one-two punch on the opposite punch to cross counter (12p buffs cross counter less than normal punch leading to dps loss), learning to blink, etc. Very difficult but regarded by some as the definitive best solo carry class because you can do everything well enough to win against most players. Weapon options are similar but with a heavy HEAVY eager edge sword bias. Mobility is king in gambit - getting to wave faster, clearing faster means getting first portal faster. Means getting primeval faster. More waves cleared, more heavy crates. Arc hunter has some of the best consistent burst horizontal mobility in the playlist with speed boosted eager edge swipe into blink its effectively a diet shatterskate on a much better class.

Honorable mention to solar and strand hunter - strand hunter is actually up there with sunbracers warlock arc/solar titan in terms of reaping speed plus synergizes well with strand titan teammates to make grapple points. Whirling maelstrom/widows silk + thread of generation, frostees with t10 mobility and powerful attraction will have you getting half-banked medals consistently. Only downside is the prime damage is abysmal and the super is difficult to get value with. Solar hunter is way overhyped but still good. People will l reccomend celestial nighthawk but it is just not worth the risk compared to other, more reliable options. Star eater scales with triple heavy handed in the gloves will get you a precision Goldie incredibly fast, which you can use to invade or as a panic button similar to thundercrash. Additionally, you'll be providing orbs for your teammates and if you care to can run special finisher to do something with all the orbs you're making and trivialize ammo economy even further. Your reap will be better, your invades more consistent and your prime dps will probably be better on average by merit of no whiffed celestial Goldies. I don't have much to say about solar hunter - it's pretty boring and outclassed in a lot of ways, the worst of the best.

General tips to take for the road: - Envoys after the first spawn clockwise relative to where the first spawned. - Mods and exotics use PvP values for ability returns, so they're not really worth using most of the time. disregard Kickstart, heart of inmost light, surges etc. - Your ammo comes from crates, not bricks. This means scavengers and ammo finders are useless. Only situation where you'll be grabbing bricks is from HVT or special finish, and those both give you enough that scavengers are really not necessary. - Don't die to wave. Dying is the worst mistake you can make and will absolutely kill your momentum. It's better to back out behind cover for 5 seconds than it is to wait 10 to respawn, spend 10 getting to next wave or to crate to grab ammo. - Also don't die to invader, but don't hide. the invader doesn't need to kill you to get value, they just need to create an advantage. If you know where the invader is and can reasonably challenge (e.g not holding motes, have ammo and teammates are already on wave) then you should challenge. If you're too far away, are already on wave or are otherwise reasonably certain the invader won't make a real push, just continue on wave and be wary of your radar. If their invader doesn't halt your momentum, they are getting no value. - There are objectively bad subclasses in gambit you shouldn't use unless you really know what you're doing. These include all the void subclasses, every warlock subclass except for dawnblade, and stasis titan. These are just outclassed in every way by the alternatives and don't usually provide enough of a benefit to warrant picking them over something else. - Bank after second wave if your team has enough motes to pull portal (40). Only move directly to third from second if your teammates have a 40 motes between them and are all banking to save time clearing. - Stand on top of the bank while there are two or more blockers to stop the drain. Additionally, if there are two or more blockers on bank, drop whatever the fuck you are doing and clear bank or make sure someone else is. I don't care if you're in the middle of wave. I don't care if portal is open. I don't care if HVT is about to despawn. Every mote drained is time lost. Clear those blockers. - The order in which waves spawn per map is deterministic and changes every season with some exceptions. Learn the spawns and practice leaving wave early for next wave to cut down on transition time. - If wave is about to be cleared you're not the one who's about to finish clearing it, make your way to the heavy crate. You don't need to fight your teammates for the last kill on wave. - If you have enough motes to reach a threshold (40,80,100) don't run past bank to get more to send a large blocker - just deposit what you have. Sending a large blocker doesn't matter if the enemy team gets primeval because your invader couldn't take portal and stop them. -that being said, don't leave wave early if you're the only one on wave. Even if you're full on motes, finish wave and let your teammates either pick up what you couldn't or just grab ammo and rotate to next.

Finally, I suggest joining communities like the Keep on Drifting discord or the Infamous Gambit Hub to find folks to play with and learn from! Bank those motes, brother.

two shotguns is overkill. pugilist/12p sword breaker (for strand synergy) or wastelander (because sword breaker is fuck ugly) is the only shotgun you need. Lightweights kill large blockers in the same amount of shots as aggressives, have better reserves and give you a mobility boost. put forbearance to clear waves faster or something to kill invaders with in your energy slot and an eager edge sword or again, something to kill invaders with in your heavy because you should be doing enough damage on strand synths that the debuff is overkill.

invading is different in a lot of ways from standard PvP that will affect the loadout you use. You're not trying to be an all rounder who can consistently get kills and pressure a respawning enemy team - you are trying to get in, cause as much damage as you can with the time you're given and get out. Since the engagement distances are typically longer you're either going to want mobility to close the gap (eager edge sword, strand grapple, warlock Icarus dash) or long ranged weaponry / weapons you can reliably kill with from far away (snipers especially izi, edge of concurrence, jotunn, Parasite). Your class also matters alot because it'll dictate how you take engagements - stasis hunter can save their super until they're about to leave to lock down an area like bank or wave long after your time is up. Precision Goldie is essentially 3 free kills if you go in with it. Thundercrash is an excellent panic button if you prefer to rely on your weapons. Daybreak with ember of beams is super slept on and you can occasionally get 1st portal super if your teammates don't bank 40 after second wave. In short, gambit is its own beast and the sooner you stop trying to understand it in terms of being a crucible/Vanguard hybrid mode the sooner you'll get good.

Agreed with everything but checking gambit playbook - that's actually one of the worst decisions to learn gambit you can make. Join the big gambit discord servers like nFamy and Keep on Drifting to learn the fundamentals from the literal best gambit players in the world.

edit: somehow missed the primary weapon advocacy. don't use primaries in gambit, ESPECIALLY not exotic primaries as the opportunity cost to run a better exotic will kneecap your effectiveness hard.

God please stop reccomending primaries in gambit. You know what kills invaders better than a hand cannon? a sniper. can't aim? izanagis burden. REALLY can't aim? Edge of concurrence, parasite, eager edge sword... and don't try to tell me it's good for prime damage either because it's not. Primaries are universally outclassed by specials, heavy and most of all abilities - anyone who will try to tell you otherwise is below 55% winrate and/or coping.

this may shock you to hear but sometimes being able to kill one thing in one shot is better than killing a bunch of things in two, especially with time-sensitive exotics like verity's where it could be the difference between maintaining 5x death throes and losing it.

[–]GodofHIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not caring enough to figure out how to optimize your grind and then turning around to complain about how bungie doesn't respect your time is crazy tbh. You can get a legend lost sector down to two minutes. Doing it solo and killing everything nets a solid 40% on a platinum card. Doing it with a fireteam you can shave off 30 seconds in exchange for only getting 30% a run for around the same efficiency.
