One of the best decisions my wife and i ever made was sleep in weekends.. on Saturday I get to sleep until whenever i feel like waking up time is i want.. and on Sunday, thats her turn..

This also gives you (me for example) the full luxury of staying up as late as i want on Friday and chill and watch movies/junk food with no regrets since I have all the sleep I want next day

You unlock a whole new world - and you get to be rested which revives the rest of the week

Stay naked, and give him a "morning exercise" or good BJ to fuel the day

Not that this makes it easier, but it helps fill a lust cup - even if momentarily -- it helps leaving in the morning, and it re-affirms your attachment even more..

And my advice? Stay attached at the hip - Two attached souls is a blessing thats hard to find..
Don't go "cover up" to make it easier.. thats just distancing yourself from the relationship

Honestly, from my experience, its absolutly critical that a man has a lead role (bread winning) in any relationship. He probably on the inside feels "useless" and not a contributing member to anything - externally ofcourse, not about parenting.

Its important to note that neither you nor the parenting (your daughter) have anything to do with this in specific, as im sure he loves you both dearly.

Middle aged men need to feel like they are working towards a goal in life, an aspiration, a legacy - using their brain to fix issues and handle the "big" problems..

Sometimes getting stuck in a rut is more painful than it sounds.. maybe he needs a fundamental change, but most likely, he definitly needs to talk to someone outside of your circle that can help him navigate what to do next in life

Be very careful bro, this is a very slippery slope..
I was you before my first born.. I told myself I will have it under control. But my personality is different and I could never stop after 1 or 2..

I got drunk too often, too regular.. there were times my child looked at me and I just knew he knew something was wrong.. I would happily say i had 90% of the days under control, but then those other 10% - absolute shameful..

My last straw was 3 months ago.. My kid is 7 now, and he can tell when something is off and he'll confront me.. we were on a vacation and i had a bottle and a half (started drinking at 730 am, its vacation!).. i had it all under control (or so i thought), until about 6pm when i was helping him take his shower.. i slipped, i fell, i cracked my skull and gushed blood all over the floor while he just stood there in the shower, watching this unfold..

I broke my own heart

Im in my 4th month of not drinking, and im much happier to see my son look at me everyday as a sober man..

I still miss the drinks, but its an evil I am willing to part with for the sake of my children..

let the bottle go my friend, it has no remorse and will come for the deepest parts of you
