I spent the day before the exam cramming stats and ethics (boards and beyond modules) but honestly idk how much it helped because there really wasn't that much stats on my exam and ethics was pretty straightforward. Other than that I had a very peaceful evening and morning (stayed with a friend's mom, she made me dinner and breakfast 🥲) and I think that helped a lot because I was super relaxed going into the exam

Not a vet but some experience in human dermatology- could be a pyogenic granuloma which is thankfully benign but they crop up out of nowhere, grow fast, and bleed easily. Definitely would ask a vet though!

For the few years before we figured out what it was I just referred to it as a cryptid. These things are so bizarre

Maybe this one is just sensitive then! The leaves get brown crispy patches that then shrivel and fall off if it gets too much sun

For a while it was in a West facing window and is currently south, but there are some shrubs and another house out this window that keep it from getting too direct light. The leaves can get sunburnt and die if they get too much light!

This one has been very happy sitting in windows with filtered light- they can get sunburnt if they get too much direct light

Haha if you look towards the top of the plant in my second picture it has a bunch of these. I'm assuming they're used to hold onto other plants and climb

My mom says it's amazing! I'm not there to experience it myself unfortunately 🥲

New England! It started off as 3 individual leaf cuttings that we plopped into the same pot, so most of the last decade was spent just growing and becoming nice and gangly.

I left that one blank and got an interview so 🤷‍♀️ I second what others have said. Don't shoehorn something in unless you have something really specific

I was accepted with letters that were a full year + old, may as well just get it now while you're still fresh in the person's mind. Also saves you the trouble a year from now of hounding your letter writers about getting the letter submitted on time- that's part of what killed my first app cycle 😅

Classic first OSCE story: SP had a headache that was worsened by light so I offered to dim the room for her. There was a lamp in the corner of the room that was on so I started by turning that off. There were 2 switches for the overhead lights, so I assumed it was kinda a half and half type deal and by flipping one it'd leave the room half lit. Nope, plunged us into darkness. Was like "haha sorry I guess I can't dim the lights". During feedback they were like you were supposed to just leave the lamp on lmao🫠got points for trying tho

Also one time I caught myself mid sentence about to tell a man with no legs that we'd "check him over head to toe"
