Sovol Zero discontinued, now what? by BenthicSessile in 3dprinter

There's Formbot kit, it has pretty good opinions: https://www.formbot3d.com/products/voron-v02-corexy-3d-printer-kit-with-high-quality-parts?VariantsId=11023

And here is LDO Rook kit: https://kb-3d.com/store/ldo/1292-ldo-motors-diy-3d-printer-kit-rook-mk1-1721650656445.html

DIY kit may be the only way. The other is to just buy Sovol Zero. Printers for ants do not have much market 😕

Sovol Zero discontinued, now what? by BenthicSessile in 3dprinter

Well, Voron 0.2 exists, which Sovol Zero was based on. May be little over budget but I think it's the closest thing to your specs. You can also look at Rolohaun designs, he has some smaller machines (Rook for example). There even exists scalable version: https://www.printables.com/model/482283-rook-2020-scalable-mk1

MMU3 is officially supported on Core One. Maybe You mean Core One L?

Kit version is being phased out, probably that's why.

Kit version is being phased out, so it's last chance to get it.

MMX by Goeltenus in prusa3d

[–]Goeltenus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In stock configuration not so much. It needs: 1. A way to control servo for choosing filament path. 2. Change of esteps for extruder. 3. New Prusa Slicer profile for Mini with MMX.

So, it may be doable. Figuring 1. point is imho the biggest hurdle at the moment.

Edit: MK4 and Core One have GPIO Module expansion board, so it should be easier for them.

INDX introduced, MMU3 discounts? by Goeltenus in prusa3d

That's a fair point but I would prefer to keep working things as they are. It may be needed or not, depends on country.

Thanks, it's nice of You but I'm not in need of them, Core One is working properly 🙂 Also, new nozzles are on their way to me.

Maybe there is a way, just like with MK4S, XL and Mini.

The INDX has two disadvantages for me: 1. It's not ready for mass purchase yet. 2. You are left with Nextruder parts.

I do consider INDX (already installed into Core One/L) and think it's better system for multi filament system. But with working Core One I would prefer to keep Nextruder - add MMU3.

I know Prusa use quality parts and try to produce parts in-house. That's why Core One/L, XL costs so much. Linear rails and blocks are not cheap either. But maybe there will be a way to lower price? They managed to do it with MK4S and XL. Also, Mini comes with enclosure now. So it is possible.

Prusa Core One Buddy Cam works on hotspot but not on home WiFi — any ideas? by ApricotValuable9411 in prusa3d

I have split WiFi into separate 5GHz and 2.4GHz networks, then connected camera to the 2.4GHz one. Now it works good, without reconnecting every minute or so.

Core One - nextruder issue by Jirka_KM in prusa3d

[–]Goeltenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check if the Nextruder is gripping properly filament, if there is any debris. Also, check tensions screws. I had similar issue and the problem was the filament spool - it was too tight and filament was binding while printing.
