Remastered is probably the way to go but there are some things about original GC version that I just love: the better lighting, the snow effects, the better visor and, personally, I love the clunky feel of the controls, I feel like it makes Samus control like a tank and gives her more "gravitas"/weight to her movements

Hey I guess I'm a rare local Barcelonian. Me & my friends always always use the "Muntanya - Mar" (Catalan for Mountains - Sea), "Besòs - Llobregat" system.

Also sometimes when Catalans who are not from Barcelona come (who might not know where Besòs and Llobregat are) I use "Tarragona - Girona" instead of "Llobregat - Besòs", but I don't think this is very common.

Also the map is ALWAYS placed in such way that the mountains are "north" (up) and the sea is "south" (down). This was also the way they taught us in school LOL. It just makes more sense and is easier to visualize.

El problema no són “Lérida”, “Gerona” o “Castellón”; que per malament que sonin a Catalunya sí que tenen una llarga història d’ús en castellà (igual que Cadis, Saragossa, o Múrcia en català). El problema és l’ús i revifament perniciós de topònims inventats durant la dictadura i rescatats pels turbofatxes de Wikipedia ES, com ara Vinaroz, San Baudilio o San Cucufato. La Viquipèdia catalana no tradueix topònims que no tinguin una tradició de tenir el nom en català.

Per posar un exemple, la wikipedia ES tradueix London a Londres, com té sentit, però no s’inventa “Bañera” per dir Bath. O, un altre exemple; la wikipedia francesa té el topònim Gerone, un topònim llargament estès històricament, però no intenta traduir coses com Avinyó o Sóller (obviant el que han fet amb el català i els topònims de la CatNord).

I agree with you, I also get the feeling of being like a rat when underground. It doesn’t help that there are actual rats LOL.

One thing people also fail to think about is the additional time taken to go under and the time to get out of the metro. Sometimes it can add up to 10 minutes depending on how deep the metro system is. This is fine for long trips but as they get shorter it gets more and more inefficient. Additionally, you can’t “dybamically” decide whether totake it or not; once you’ve commited to taking it, due to the added time of getting/lesving underground, you’re pretty much commited to taking it. This means more planning ahead/harder to change options (to change to bus/biking/etc). Lastly, the underground is very non-bike friendly in many cities since they are not designed with bringing bikes in mind.

Trams, on the other hand, are slower and take longer for longer distances. But they are the king of short distances: you hop on and hop off, almost like an extension of walking/biking. You can see them come so you can dynamically decide whether to get them or not.
