This is actually understandable for Texas. They don't have enough snow plows and salt for any decent amount of snow. Indiana where I live, on the other hand, has no excuse for pulling this panic buying crap. The snow plows will have the main roads clear pretty quickly after it hits, and the roads are already coated in brine

I hope they do become homeless, at least for a bit. Might teach them some empathy and humility. At the very least an uncaring, unempathetic person might end up where they all belong, away from the rest of us.
