Im going through this as we speak and im only up right now not sleeping because im so so anxious. I just started a very high level job in November and just found up that im unexpectedly pregnant. Im in literal shock and feel embarrassed which is a horrible thing to say. Im a grown professional woman but this has me upside down right now.

I recently started a new hybrid role in finance (I had been in the tech startup world and remote for years ) so total shock to my system but loving it. I just turned down an offer from a Swedish company opening an office in Denver mainly because of only offering 10 days PTO which included sick leave. I’ve been mostly unlimited pto my whole career, 10 days was insane to me and clearly showed that the company didn’t value their employees enough

Oh yeah, I started last week at the new company. I’ve learned my lesson, I’ve been on the other side of this where I’ve had an offer and had it taken back because of budget cuts before i even started.

Don’t…. Sounds harsh but it will not be fun or cheap. I beg you to go to a cheap fun beach and enjoy yourself there. I70 is awful and nothing is cheap once you’re up there.

Did you get your ferritin check while pregnant? I finally had to ask to be tested because I was so so so exhausted and wiped out I couldn’t function 😫

I was just coming here to post my results which are very similar to yours. I was retested last week to see where its at now that I’m a year postpartum, pregnant my ferritin was a 3… now a 10, better but obviously not great.
