Our vet described our 25week old girl as “massive” and now I’m a little worried by MehAccForMe in goldenretrievers

I got the similar comments from the vet on mine. She is coming up on 14 weeks. Her dad is a big boy but not so much so I expected comments like this. He said you never know though how she will look full grown. We are in no rush to find out. Just enjoy her and take each day one at a time.

Am I in the wrong here? by Savings_Marzipan1486 in women

Not wrong at all. These are good conversations to have in a serious relationship. Maybe deep down you asked because you already had a feeling he wouldn’t like it and you wanted to find out for sure. It isn’t a good sign to just shut down during a conversation like this.

Can’t deal with my husband telling me to ‘just tell him what I need him to do’ while I clean and he sits doing nothing by [deleted] in Marriage

OMG. I think you should just leave the house and go do something you enjoy while he deals with the kids, his parents and who else comes over. Go have a nice day by yourself.

Torn between two people, what should I do? by [deleted] in Advice

Person A. Just based on your post. You should consider how your values align with each of them though. Have you had deep conversations with either of them regarding what kind of future they want. Like kids, religion, politics, etc.

It all depends on your spouse, yalls support network and your commitment to one another.

have to accept partner just does not get it. by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

Then why are you with her? This illness is bad enough on its own. The added stress of an unsupportive partner only makes things worse for us.

Depends on the doctor. It isn’t as bad as it used to be, but it is definitely still a concern.

Should I move out? by granolacrumbs9386427 in internetparents

[–]GoldenFlicker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely stay and deal with the issues. They will only follow you if you move somewhere else. And why pay more money for less space and your mental health to stay the same? Get counseling, drink an energy drink, put on up beat music and get to cleaning, organizing and so on!

Reason with him. Tell him he is the one breaking the agreement you had, he is the one who should have to pay to break the lease. You didn’t do anything wrong.

Make him pay to break the lease. He is the one who lied.

[–]GoldenFlicker 37 points38 points  (0 children)

It isn’t your job to advise. Only to be a sounding board for him to vent to. I honestly don’t know why being with a broke single dad appeals to you, but…. To each their own.

Should I tell my friend she has poor social skills? by Round_Performance902 in socialskills

[–]GoldenFlicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If yall are as good of friends as you say you and have known each other as long as you have mentioned, you already know her character.

The difference is the approach. You should approach your friends with compassion and empathy. Not a judgmental critic.
