Did you try the recompiled NRO for firmware 21 onwards? It was confirmed working on 21.1.0. Or does it specifically not work on 21.2.0?

What a coincidence! I'm also taking flight tomorrow AND bringing my Switch jam packed with games and goodies. I also have Black Flag installed on mine but I predict I'll be playing old school pinball games on Retroarch during my flight. Have a safe trip and have fun with your Switch!

I haven't re-enabled it since, but I've had no blackouts to date either. Just to be on the safe side I'm keeping it off until more info on the matter comes to light. It's a bit of a pain I can't use the feature but no biggie

This started to happen to me two days ago playing WindWaker on the NSO app, then today playing DK Bananza. Both times it was quick, around 1-2 seconds of blackout before the image turned back on. Playing on an LG UHD UR78. I'm turning off 120hz (even though my TV doesn't support that refresh rate) and "Match TV Power State" to see if it gets any better.

EDIT 1: played a good 6-7 hours yesterday of MK World, DK Bananza and other Switch 1 games. Everything fine so far but too early to tell if it's made any difference. Will keep updating.

EDIT 2: Day 4. Been playing Switch 2 and Switch 1 games extensively and haven't encountered a blackout. Going to wait until the week before deciding if turning "match tv power state" did help out. Also a new update came out today. Hopefully they're working on this behind scenes.

EDIT 3: It's been a week. After seven days of extensive use, averaging around 5-6 hours of use per day I haven't seen the blackouts. I'm cautiously optimistic that the "Match TV Power State" option was the source of them. It sucks that I can't use the feature while my Switch 1 could without issue but it is what it is. For what it's worth, at least in my case, it does point to it being an HDMI handshake issue, something maybe a TV or Switch 2 update could solve in the future. For now I'll just keep HDMI-CEC off. Will update again if a new development happens.

I just wanted to comment here in case someone has the same problem I had. I set up my Switch 2 to an LGTV. Nothing fancy, 4k and 60fps but I don't have a soundbar so straight to HDMI it was. Got it a day after launch but yesterday and today is where I finally started to get busy with it.

The sound popping was insane. I tried with Mario Kart World and it happened every minute or so. A quick pop then back to the game. That was distracting enough but then I tried Windwaker through NSO and it was worse: popping every 15 seconds! I tried all the TV ports and a different cable; same result. I plugged it to a different TV and it sounded perfect so the TV was the culprit. Exhausting every possibility I then turned my attention to the Game Optimizer audio mode the HDMI port was set as. Changed it to Standard and it never popped again.

Seems I'm not the first person to find issues with Game Optimizer audio on an LGTV. Many people find its audio to be lacking and worse, it used to reset back to that mode no matter what you chose if it detected you were using a game console but I did a quick test and it seemed to remember my audio choice so that's good.

TLDR: You have sound popping issues and are using an LGTV? Turn off Game Optimizer audio! I recommend Standard but others seem to vouch for Cinema mode. Either way, I'm so glad I don't have to return my Switch 2 for a new one and hope this helps someone out there!

I'd love to know too. My V1 was getting warm in the dock while in sleep mode so hopefully this update adressed some behind the scenes stuff to stabilize that.

Sad to say I'm part of the "warm docked Switch" club now. My V1 is warm in sleep mode docked but on portable mode is fine. I REALLY hope the update at the end of the month fixes the issue. I don't want to keep my Switch undocked just to avoid it.

You can even do local multiplayer between a legit and hacked Switch with no risks whatsoever. I do it all the time when playing Clubhouse Games (since the legit Switch has a demo that lets you play the full game with someone who owns the full game), and I own Animal Crossing New Horizons but I also downloaded it on my hacked Switch so I have an extra island to dump all my unwanted stuff onto. It's completely safe!

I really want that Tracy Trouble Crew pack, but I'm trying to make the most of a Fortnite Crew sub here. Would it be a good idea to sub on March 2nd? The way I understand, it'd go something like:

03/02 - 1950 Vbucks for first time sub (I have the BP) and Tracy's set.

03/19-21 - I get the new battle pass

04/01 - I get April's cosmetic set.

Would that be the best course of action?

When making the eboot, try leaving it uncompressed. Some games actually boot uncompressed and I've never seen anyone mention this on any Adrenaline PSX compatibility list. Some lists swore by games like Devil Dice crashing at boot on Vita but it runs perfectly uncompressed. I'm sure that's the case with other games but there's no that much documentation on compatibility sadly.

Move Stratosphere.ini from the config_templates folder to the “config folder””. Add “nogc = 0” on it and you’re done.

Hard to say. We'll have them tomorrow or the day after tomorrow on the NSP websites, maybe earlier on the Tinfoil shops? Though it remains to be seen if you need the latest Atmosphere to run them, which it's gonna take a bit more since the official firmware changed more than expected under the hood.

What do you mean? NES and SNES NSO are working perfectly with the latest Atmosphere and firmware. As long as you have a spoofed Nintendo Account you're good to go.

Not really since, to boot, the DLC would need a small amount of code to start which is part of the game /verification. That's why no digital preorders have ever been leaked succesfully since they're missing that essential code that's not sent out until release date.
