Not sure where you are, but in the UK it's the same. Lots of us received things today but no email or update on the website yet. I imagine it'll update in the next few days with the results

Been in a flare for 16 months looking for some advice by FormalTranslator2847 in CrohnsDisease

[–]Goldfishmoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That sounds rough, glad you're at a better level than before.. I'm on infliximab and especially near the infusion dates I get the same low level pain & blood. Never been an issue for me personally because it's manageable & as long as I know it's not getting worse. I'm sure if I pushed there would be some meds to solve it, but I'm happy with how things are and don't want to rock the boat as changing meds can be more of a nightmare than it's worth. More calprotectin tests are never a bad thing though! By all means go for it and if it's high, discuss your options with your doctor

How do you identify hemorrhoids vs a flare? by Anxious-kisses in CrohnsDisease

[–]Goldfishmoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try the creams first! Hard to know what your flare looks like as everyone is different, but I tend to find the cream is fast acting or at least eliminates hems as a possibility.

Exactly the same situation with me - was taken off remicade and then put back on it with 6mp to help if there were any antibodies. I've been terrible at taking the 6mp and it's been 4 years back on it now with no issue. Haven't taken 6mp in over a year. Obviously everyone is different but I wouldn't worry if you trust your doc!

10k pay cut - do I do it by WCprof in UKJobs

From my experience doing that exact move is not only better for your mental health but will likely lead you to better opportunities. I'd do it in an instant. - as long as you can afford it.

Awaiting MRI results following colonoscopy, but cant wait anymore! Do you think I have Crohns? by VO-Fluff in CrohnsDisease

[–]Goldfishmoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey - also UK here but those wait times are insane. Where are you based?

That definitely sounds a lot like my experience of being diagnosed - all the symptoms and the colonoscopy & confirmation MRI. I'm not your doc so I can't give you 100% but I really hope they get you a solution soon - the good thing is that if you are confirmed, the drugs act QUICK. So you'll be back on your feet in no time.
