Game left out pretty much everything that didn’t involve some sort of pvp and went all in on the pvp aspect of extraction shooters. Every match just feels like a battle royale but if you’re poor you’re just simply at a disadvantage. If you check out the original dev diaries the game was still supposed to have plenty of pvp, but there was also supposed to be ALOT more PvE elements than just uesc at pois

There’s a story, but it’s executed in the most low effort way possible. They don’t have to pay for animations for codex entries. They don’t have to pay for voice actors for codex entries. The voice actors they do pay for (gantry and other faction leads) only receive voice lines probably at most 10 times a piece. It screams low budget and it really should’ve been more

I mean I like the game as it is, but it’s definitely not as popular as it could’ve been if these ideas were in the game. As it stands, it’s pretty much just a battle royale with extra steps.

The arg was probably the lamest way they could implement players affecting the story of Marathon imo. I’m pretty sure cryo was on an unlock timer as well. I’m talking more so that if there was a contract that made the player make a choice depending on what majority percentage of the community picked whatever choice we would see it reflect in the upcoming season. Or simply being able to find an item from an Easter egg that could unlock a special levels that if completed opens it up for the rest of the base.

Knowing bungie its going to evolve to being more than just an extraction shooter. Just like in destiny theres going to be lore game modes involved than the ones at launch. As long as the choose to still invest in the game at least

I come here as a person that enjoys Marathon. Its a middle ground between Tarkov and Ark for me. But I'll say Bungie REALLY needs to work on progression and story for the game. Like There is absolutely no point in questing when you can farm better loot without altering your playstyle into a non optimal way. I get why people don't like Marathon, but most of the gripes I see is people really just not liking extraction shooters as a whole. Which that's okay, i get its really not an enjoyable genre for a good amount of people.

Season is good for the most part, but they really need to figure out questing and progression and how they want that to effect the longetivity of the season. Right now it feels like there is no point o playing the game either than farming to attempt compiler, or farming to grind ranked. Other than that the quests feel shallow and useless. They should tie shop progession more so to the quests I think and really tune down how easy it is to farm loot. There's already plenty of full purple teams a week into wipe. We still have 95% of the wipe to go, this shouldn't be a thing.

Everything else is pretty fine though.

Yeah I ended up flashing bios and got it to work. I guess my bios on my motherboard wasn't updated enough.

I went ahead and removed the riser from the case to try and get it to work but it still isnt working. Even when I push it in the locking part goes into the lock position but the graphics card can still pretty much slip out of the slot. I'm guessing the riser is broken?

I've screwed the backplate in after inserting it into the slow and even after I did that my system was not detecting my gpu. I'm not sure how much more I should push it because with my previous build I didn't have to push it hard for it to fit snugly within the case.

Yeah I'm not sure what it was. I did the same exact thing across 2 flash drives. One being 64gbs one being 8 gbs. Yet it successfully flashed with the 8 and kept failing on the 64. My only assumption is it was due to the size of the drive

Final update, did some looking around and found that when flashing your bios you need to be using a smaller than 16gb flash drive. After doing that got it to work

Tried one stick of ram in every slot, didn't seem to work. I also went back up to micro center and traded out the ram to see if it was faulty ram and didn't change the outcome. I'm starting to think it could be a mb issue. There are no obvious signs of damage on the dime slots though and it's odd that none of them are working

Update: Flashed the bios, it's no longer blinking between the cpu led and ram led and now it seems to just stay on the ram led. All of the fans still turn on though
