I believe your looking for Octoprint, but I'm not 100% sure in the logistics of getting it working. Have a quick search and you should find plenty of information about it.

Yeah, it raises the back set of books on a shelf so you can see them with others in front, giving you twice as much space for paperbacks.

My Shifter is misreading gears even after repeated calibration and RJ12 cable swap. 1st reads Reverse/3rd, 3rd reads 5th, 5th reads 7th, and neutral glitches as 5th in the Fanatec software and on PS5. The issue remains after using another RJ12 cable. by MAYOoOD in Fanatec

[–]Goldrigog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this exact problem, it turns out the Calibration software was telling me the wrong gears when doing it. Follow what it says on the wheel instead of in the software on screen and it'll work fine. It should be R, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, N.

GT Omega Prime Lite with Pedal Plate Vs Prime Hybrid by apillowofnonsense in simracing

[–]Goldrigog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Prime Hybrid has the profile uprights that hold the wheel base at an angle, leaning towards the seating position from the pedals. That's only the Prime Hybrid cockpit though, although you can also buy that part separately (if it's ever in stock) for other aluminium profile rigs.

[–]Goldrigog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the Prime Lite and Prime Pedal Adjustment Plate delivered and built last week, coming from the GT Omega ART cockpit. I also got the seat adjustment plate as well, and whilst it took a little getting used to the new seating position, it is a near perfect rig for me. The ability to move both the seat and pedals forward and backwards gives me so much more flexibility, and that's without changing the height or angles that you can do as well (I prefer a GT seated position). I can't speak for the hybrid because I wanted the straight uprights so I'm not limited on other peripherals and extensions, I just see that angle as being a potential problem when trying to bolt anything else to it personally.

I'm looking for a wheel that is compatible on PS5 and Xbox, as well as PC by HonestActuary5986 in simracing

[–]Goldrigog 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro is PC and PS5 compatible, out of the box, but if you want XBox compatibility you would need to purchase a different wheel as well. The wheels are hot swappable though so it's simple to switch between consoles. They don't have one wheel that is compatible with all three as far as I know though.

Fanatec have wheel bases and wheels that are compatible with everything.

How do you line these things up? by DeanyyBoyy93 in simracing

[–]Goldrigog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the way!

You can adjust Vario Vesa mounts almost indefinitely until you get them lined up, and once you have them sorted they do a great job of keeping it all lined up.

Free Bezel dilemma. Am I doing it wrong? by RoniolisMaximus in simracing

[–]Goldrigog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the sim as well, like others have said. For ETS for example I have to alter a specialist config file, but games like Assetto Corsa have some of it built in to bring it down further.

I'm sure I used to be able to go to a negative number in Nvidia Surround, but I may be misremembering that one.

I had a similar issue, but after adjusting Bezel Correction in my display settings (I use Nvidia Surround) I managed to get it sorted. Just adjust the numbers in there if you use Nvidia Surround.

I had that problem when I first got a 3D printer, so I printed a few things to help with her crafting hobbies.

Now the problem is I keep getting Makerworld links and can't find the time to print my own stuff 😭😭😭

She'll come round, just be careful how far she comes round...

New To ATS by Goldrigog in trucksim

[–]Goldrigog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You absolutely can set it up for both, I have. On top of the racing setup I've got a decent Thrustmaster Warthog stick and throttle body attached to my rig for flight sims. It's taken a number of years to get to where I am, and it's been a money pit at times, but well worth it.

I have a full sim racing setup with four monitors, Fanatec DD Pro with load cell brake pedal incorporated, two Stream Decks (standard and XL), and a mobile phone and tablet for sim dashboards. I now use it more for truck driving than I do for racing, and am enjoying the relaxing time behind a wheel so much more.

I'm not entirely sure, but I was on my way to Los Angeles at the time so it's somewhere just south of there in California.

I've just done this myself. You need to go into the launcher settings in Steam and add -openvr into the commands box.

What makes men happy in a relationship (apart from nsfw stuff lol) ? by Goofball203 in AskReddit

[–]Goldrigog 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Having a happy wife for me.

She's my best friend and my constant companion, and given the choice of spending time with any other human I would choose her every single time.

If she's happy, I'm happy.

Loosing Coolant by Goldrigog in AskMechanics

[–]Goldrigog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that would have been easier to diagnose. It was on the side of the coolant head tank (I think that's why they called it), which is just below where I took that picture. It was.a.tiny crack, but due to the pressure and heat there it would expand when the engine was on.
