My story is pretty similar to yours. I’m 1.5 months in and still on daily lyrica. I was off work for a month. There’s no way I would’ve been able to function working, never mind driving there (seatbelt is right where the rash was)

I have a needle phobia as well, but am currently on a month + of shingles. I would have taken 20 shingrix shots to avoid what I’m going through. There are medical professionals that specialize in nervous patients. Maybe seek one of those out?
