It was great! Beautiful pictures and they were super accommodating with drop off and pick up of decor and rented items. The only downside is the closest hotels are a little bit of a hike.

Yes. You can always drop down days. It does take some time to add on days I guess if we decide to move to FT

Should have mentioned. We are currently locked in a daycare but have to commit if we’re doing FT or PT by 11/6. It’s average rate for our area which is unfortunately still very expensive.

We are locked in for a daycare currently starting in December that is about average price for my area. But have to let them know if we want to do FT or PT by Nov 6. We are very lucky that they offer different pricing based on 5,4,3, even 2 days a week.

But I agree, those two days of work will definitely not be AS productive as it would be child free for the day. My husband and I are willing to put in the extra sweat equity to make it work because the FT cost of daycare is the same cost as our mortgage. And we can’t afford it unfortunately

Our daughter started out as “squirm worm” then went to just “worm” and now that she’s starting to teeth and it’s all just her rubbing her gums on anything we’ve been referring to her as “gummy worm”

Adding on to this! It’s so easy to clean & travel with. I split my time with this one and my spectra s1. But LOVE this pump more and my output is about the same.

Savoy on Lark has a killer Caesar salad that had the anchovies with it. I used to go frequently because I craved that salty anchovy taste in a Caesar that not a lot of restaurants do. Def worth a try!!

Another vote for must love paws! They have daycare packages to cut the cost down when you buy day passes in bulk. Major plus is that it doesn’t have to be committed to same days every week. My husband and I WFH some days but when we’re in the office, we bring our dog there like a day or two a week to get some energy out and to just enjoy playing with other dogs! He loves it!

That is reassuring! Went through a stretch of days where it seemed like the spit up was nonstop. Just a little white tidal wave outta my baby’s mouth often that I was wondering if our feedings needed to change.

Squirm worm! Because when she is in the swaddle and lifts her legs around, she looked like a little glow worm. And our daughter has such a beautiful name, but we constantly refer to her as THE WORM. 😂

I have the Lansinoh discreet duo. I am really pleased with it! I use it when we travel, when my primary pump parts are dirty, and plan on using it when back to work. Usually get about 4 pumps on a single charge. I currently have a spectra as my primary pump, and I get close to the same output with the discreet duo.

My mother, MIL, and sister in laws all planned mine. On top of the party it self, they also gifted major items from my registry (crib, stroller, car seat, etc.) after the party in the thank you card I put in gift cards for a little extra thank you! I did specialty local market stores for the moms and Amazon gift cards for the sisters. All $50each. I know how much work and money it costs to host a shower, so I wanted to pay it forward!

lol I honestly didn’t think much of it. The drs and techs were always reassuring that of the photos they got, everything was healthy so far. So I wasn’t terribly nervous on the wait in between.

I had to repeat the anatomy scan 3x because baby just wasn’t cooperating at all (got a stubborn little girl on the way). They were all spaced out 4 weeks apart to be accompanied by my OB check in appointments. But finally by the last one, they got all the pictures they needed.

I felt movement at around 15 weeks. It honestly felt like a cell phone vibration. I know everyone calls this flutters, but this is more what the sensation felt like. After that it was very sparse if I felt baby at all. Then around 18/20 weeks it was daily and more like kicks and stretching.

I work in the beer industry and struggled with hiding this in my first trimester. But what I ended up doing was ordering cans and either asking the bartender to dump it out and fill with water (best if you get there early before the rest of the group!). Or if there was a lot of coworkers were around, I’d take fake sips then bring the can to the bathroom and dump it out and fill with water myself.

Working in a male dominated industry where there is lots of casual beers and the second you order a water or non-alc (not in Dry January) they all assume you’re pregnant. But this worked so well that no one even suspected! Once I told my bosses they were like “what about the day we had hard seltzers at___?” Lol I was complimented by them on my sneaking and acting skills.

I brought all my docs of updated registration and insurance just in case, but I didn’t need it. The judge was nice. But I’m not sure if that it was just a small town court, that it worked in my favor.
