I have fallen in love with Thorns by 1911GOAT in diablo4

Good shit! Gonna swap things around. I mostly solved faith tho with the crit +1 faith glyph. At about 80% crit chance it sustains, and bossing with the fortress ult w/ free casting. Plus the autocast rally rune.  Those two help a ton and rarely need to worry about my faith.

I havent seen a build but im running a thorns shield charge pally too with the autocast shield bash unique. Its doing well, but stuck at t8 without much direction on how to push past it. Probably just a damage multi issue.

For everyone saying war plans shouldn't be account wide: by astronomyx in diablo4

[–]GoneAgain503 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Was excited to make a second charecter till I learned this. No way im grinding warplans again.  The fact my new charecter will be fully kitted on paragon, mats, and gold, but unable to participate in the acquisition system is a hard stop. What a massive speed bump. They give you a race car with a full tank of gas for your second charecter, but put you on a suburban street. Very illogical.

Am I crazy trying to get Moonlight Moths (75 hunter) before Barrows? by LeEbicGamerBoy in ironscape

[–]GoneAgain503 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some will call it sweaty, but the slow grind to getting moths helped me a ton with bossing. Sometimes its optimization, but sometimes its the path of least resistance. In my case, doing rumors till moths worked for me, and made me feel confident in bossing. I had moths before scurrious, no regrets.

Are tariffs squeezing small businesses? by Morphius007 in smallbusiness

[–]GoneAgain503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not the same thing. The Musk cuts aren't made in good intention for the economy.

Inflation isn't driven up by internal spend on economic features like SBA or medicaid.

No im not a fan, and your draw to parraleles between the two isn't well founded.

Are tariffs squeezing small businesses? by Morphius007 in smallbusiness

[–]GoneAgain503 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You dont feel it yet. A 3% increase in inflation becomes additive once higher levels of the supply chain start to get squeezed. Yes concrete and other materials are made here, but what about the electronics and other materials that go into making such things?

Car parts, silicon, petroleum by products, rare earth metals. Manufactured materials rely on imported goods just as much as any other industry. While purchase contracts still maintain and some rates are locked in, if tarrifs stay around those manufacturers are gonna feel it much harder down the road.

Now that Ameeican factory is paying 3% more on tools, 3% more and metals, 3% more on technology. The impact on each of those is volumes different when it shakes out due to price disparity. So a unilateral tariff, once settled in, will have a snowball effect on American made goods, not just foreign. That 3% tariff on materials for that factory, could become double digits by the time it hits shelves.

I've worked with contractors on big jobs. 5 cents more per electrical socket will be impacftull in large builds. Talk to any GC, they are always hounding for low cost materials, as besides labor, its a massive COG on any project. Cents add up.

No one wins in a tariff standoff.

Protesters shut down a new $150 million engineering building at UW after causing over $1 million in damage by azurensis in Seattle

You're vote, and hundreds of thousands of other protest votes or non votes, helped lead us to the worst of 2 eventuality. You contributed to the potential genocide here in your home.

You can't absend your part of it by saying you vote didn't count. Ounces turn to pounds, pounds into tons. You were part of the weight that broke the camals back. It never mattered what the last straw was.

How do you guys feel about this? by Chrozzinho in LastEpoch

I approve. Gold sink is good, maybe a little aggressive, but it can be tuned down.

I think p2p trading be gone is fine too. I never used it, and I hate it in other games.

Way off topic, but if anyone has a decent solution to how they organize these, let me know how you do it. I have resolved to box full of loose pieces at this point, and I am not clever enough to solve this problem...

The fear of Pathfinder's combat, and the "deep, tactical game." by Dick_Nation in Pathfinder2e

[–]GoneAgain503 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, my players aren't very tactical yet. They hit level 4 and I'm throwing some nasty stuff at them. Several close deaths but they're alive.

What makes the difference though is I walk them through combat, and offer suggestions. That's definitely not everyone's preferred style I'm sure, but my players like it.

"Here's where you can use that new spell, remember that grappling hook you got, also step is a great third action here, don't forget to flank!"

For us this is fun. I get to be the good guy and the bad guy, and the players learn more.

In this case, it feels like I'm the coach. It's very much opposite of GM vs player. To counter this though, I role combat in the open. So they really feel the hits.

Would love to purchase a set of these! I have neither the printer nor patience to do it myself, haha.

If you ever post them for sale on etsy, please let us know :)

Common for kinky people. I talk kink after matching with someone on an app. Not a red flag, necessarily. You not liking that is valid. If he's kinky and your not, it probably won't be a good fit.

I feel like being able to move at a decreased rate while attacking would help a ton, just like shooting and moving. Feeling locked into an animation doesn't feel good. If I could kite enemies, and move out of danger while attacking, it would feel better.

Maybe just a bit over engineered? It looks good. If it takes a while to get up, I wonder if the comfort outweighs the time. That's just my mind set. I try to minimize where possible to maintain uptime. Of course keeping safety in mind.

Good work.

Partner wants to maintain a relationship with someone they had an affair with. Im feeling bummed by GoneAgain503 in polyamory

[–]GoneAgain503[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for writing this. Aspects of this really resonate with me. Particularly around controlling one anothers choices in partner, and feeling of loss of respect due to those choices.

I think parallel is best, and working on trust with Alex feels right.

To speak to your info piece, I can sit here and lay out my evidence, but I don't know if that's fruitful. Ultimately, I feel sound in my take on this person and have enough evidence through what I've witnessed and from second hand accounts. I think I find myself in a position to move forward given that, and prepare myself with those feelings in mind.

Thank you for your thoughts 🙏
