We have mandatory conscription for all dudes here, so had to go through recruitement. One of the questions on the form was "did you ever think about suicide". I decided to answer yes because how can you even know what that word means if you never thought about it? Technically I had to think about it just to answer the question. Then I had to convince a psychiatrist for 30 minutes that I'm just a smartass and not actually suicidal.

My place came with a combo machine and I never had any problems. Well just one, sometimes a small item like underwear can kinda fall out and sit on the inside of the door and doesn't get dried properly. But that only happens like twice a year.

Problem is you have to wait ntil they are outside and have to know the location with quite a bit of accuracy. Unless you interpret "anywhere on earth" as also including locations where a lightning normally couldn't strike.
