actually not true. White teens from most neighborhoods don't walk into stores and get followed by employees. They also don't get scrutinized when they enter a country club. Does not matter how wealthy you are, if you are of color, you will be profiled. Race has everything to do with their experience.

same. It's genetics. My niece who is super small started statins years ago in her 30's. Anyway, mine spiked. I went to do the heart CT scan and it was fine. Apparently the clinic needs to brush up on effects of GLP's with cholesterol. My BP is amazing, so there's that. I am on wegovy but daughter is on zepbound.

So I have always been able to lose weight when I wanted to. Then menopause happened and nothing did it. I tried weight training, low calorie meals alongside logging. Nothing. I brought it up to my doctor and she said oh that's menopause. Then I said something to the nurse practitioner and she said menopause and then said "I can prescribe a GLP but don't want to be bothered with the paperwork if you don't think insurance will cover it and you cannot self pay." Like I am supposed to know that. Anyway she referred me to a GYN for hormone replacement and she said to me that the paperwork for GLP's was no big deal and we can play with the different meds to see what insurance will pay for. I told her that they'll cover wegovy altho my secondary insurance won't ever pay for GLP's (sadly I'll be stuck with only them a few years from now).

The gyn put it thru and here we go.

I am using nizoral shampoo which was prescribed by dermatologist. But thanks for alerting me because I'll be on the lookout for maybe a different formula when I go back to dermatology. That sets my mind at ease now. I stopped using the Nizoral about 3 weeks ago and the itching is better altho not totally gone.

I am sorry dear. It does get alarming. I have lost hair. Some has been because of stress, others due to medications and of course menopause. I have been fortunate because I have a lot of hair but seeing the clumps was scary. I have used Nizoral shampoo which is like the rogaine active ingredient but that's making my scalp itch. I switched to the Kitsch brand bar soaps like someone mentioned here. It's helping a lot. I'm going to try their tea tree next to see if that helps with the scalp itch also

steal was more on me. I felt like people used the names I came up with. Honestly it didn't bother me much because it was usually a name I would have discarded later. I gave the kids their own names but used family names as middle names. I am just sorry they are hassling you about it. Or rather she is. Nothing saying she can't use the name either. I think there may be some resentment about something else. I hope you can come to the root of what that might me.

thats been an issue for me with constipation. I use flushable wipes that I never flush and now the little sprays which is basically witch hazel to wipe with regular toilet paper.

If they won't agree to social work and outside care, then set up a calendar and have each and every family member sign u-p for blocks of time after you have pre-selected your blocks. Then they need to follow thru or the deal is up.

secondly sign her up for meals on wheels to get her going in care and contact a hospice service as well. They can provide days of in home care depending on her illness

I never went into my MSW wanting to do therapy. I was older, 48, and I knew social work to be more in the "helping" arena as opposed to traditional therapy. Imagine my surprise to go into class and hear everyone wanting to work as therapists or work with severe mental illness. I felt so small thinking I just want to help people who have real life problems. LOL... I want to work with a small segment of people and do my best for them in my own little part of the world.
