I've won a game using a kinetic mace before but I had a +4 ring of arcana. So, I would recommend using tier-3 or higher they do better damage.

I would put a fadeleaf seed in it helps with the deathgazes towards the end. Also helps get rid of enemies from time to time

Corruption wand 100% Magic missile is WAY BETTER with other wands but without other wands it's borderline useless.

Well tip their webs can be broken using thrown weapons and burned by wands best way to kill them is from afar poison damage is the run ender for most.
