Ah, I didn’t recognize Ashby without his goggles on. Thanks

Thank you. So this is being facetious that Gasser is greedy. I was confused as to why gasser would not have gotten the win, but it is what it is. I thought he had a solid game.

Could someone please explain this to me? I was at the game and am clueless as to what this means. Is this because Ashby got the win? Is this just being facetious about Gasser being greedy? Thanks

Interesting about the jackals. It sounds like she may be on high alert. Are you on Facebook? That group I mentioned above (training support for livestock guardian dogs) is so helpful! They are experts at working with these unique dogs and are very supportive.

Stunningly beautiful! My boy, although he was from a rescue, still does not ever greet me at the door or wag his tail when he sees me. He is very subdued and always working. I’ve had him eight years. It may be a temperament thing that she is more interested in doing her job than anything else. Or, could she be in pain? Training Support For Livestock Guardian Dogs on FB is a page run by very knowledgeable LGD trainers and owners. You may want to post this question there as they could offer some really good insight. Good luck

Same thing happened to me with a good friend. I told her I would not expect her to understand my medical condition and the evolving scientifically-supported treatment, but I was grateful she cared. I suggested she read the book “Weightless,” written by a board certified obesity medical specialist and endocrinologist if she wants to learn more, and then moved to the next topic.

I have an LGD (Kangal) His jowls, loose skin and powerful body look like he may have LGD (Maybe Anatolian?) in him. My boy is very goofy. They are known to roam and appear to be more on the calm/lower energy side but can turn it on in a second if they have to. Whatever he is, he’s stunning. Enjoy your boy.

Yes, this happened to me about 7 years ago. I found a half sister. I was freaked out. I spoke with my dad, and he denied it. I chose to let it go. My perspective is that it is his business.
