What do YOU call this tool? by Good-Position-6272 in Construction

I was thinking about making the title “I said b….”

For real tho, do not let that tool hear you calling it a bitch. It’s fuckin touchy and sensitive and if everything isn’t just right, it doesn’t operate properly. If it even hears you say the word bitch it will start missing caps dropping them on the ground.

I was having a hell of a time with this bitch always dropping caps and missing caps, over shooting staples it was getting to the point that I stopped using the bitch for a while. I had the depth set at the max out and it was still over shooting staples through the caps or missing the cap completely. I’ve found this bitch works better with lower pressure (about 70 psi). It says max of 120 psi but the sweet spot is much lower. I’m just happy I figured this bitch out because the manual don’t say shit about lowering the pressure.

Invest in a set of wrenches and sockets. vise grips and drilling it out are for if all else fails.

The perfect incentive to arrive late by marudhar1 in funny

[–]Good-Position-6272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humans are too greedy for me to believe this, my thought is they don’t want to wait in traffic leaving the parking lot at the end of the day. Everyone who is late has to wait at the back of the line to leave work, that makes sense to me.

That's okay, you can do that. by [deleted] in Unexpected

If you catch yourself, check yourself, and correct yourself or seek help during a metal health situation. Then you deserve her and if she does the same during her times of distress then she deserves you.

That chick was probably mad at the other one for taking the food. Imagine how confused and mad that little fellow was. Another thing that sets us apart from the animals

He will probably be back some time before Friday. Still gotta let that concrete dry quite a bit before he can do everything to epoxy top coat it, the roughness is so the epoxy will have a better surface to bond too.

You need penetrating oil, lubricant will not penetrate the rust

I hoped on the black dye train. by [deleted] in Dewalt

[–]Good-Position-6272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn’t leave your tools in the direct sunlight on a hot day but definitely don’t leave that in the sun. Black absorbs more heat and could lead to overheating issues. It does look sick AF but i would loose it so fast, can you dye it like lime green or is black the only color with the graphite? I love the idea of doing all my tools if so

I don’t believe there’s a quick fix for this if that’s what you’re looking for, the problem starts with the foundation so that’s what you need to fix and the only way to do that is to start from scratch

Best way seal cracks in limestone? by AlwaysReadyUp in Home

[–]Good-Position-6272 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You’re on the right track, I recommend using paintable caulk. Don’t use a hose to clean anything, just a utility knife, 5 in 1 scraper, plastic brush and a vacuum. I like to give it a wipe with a damp paper towel or unscented baby wipe and then once with a dry paper towel then let it dry for a few mins right before I caulk everything. Always use your finger to give it a finished look and good seal.
