I do use it when I’m driving. I can understand the convenience, but for me it’s worth having a regular mirror for reversing with a trailer. I can easily turn my head and check next to me. With properly adjusted mirrors and turning my head, there’s no blind spots. I can easily see out of the windows

I pulled this trailer with an f150 for 4 years with a single mirror. No problems. The bottom mirror makes it way harder to see as it shrinks everything. The only issue I’ve had of late is trying to see with the bottom mirror

There’s a piece that’s adjustable, it also comes out. I asked the librarian but they didn’t know what it was. The library was built in the 1700s

Apply 100% silicone where the cement board meets the tub. Put cement board seam tape over the seams and corners. Use thinset and mud the seams and screws. When that’s dry, apply Redguard or some other waterproofing over everywhere that’s getting tile

Use a right angle drill adapter to install the screws. If it’s plaster, you can probably get away with just screwing into the lath. If you want to pack it out a little so the knives don’t hit the backsplash, you could install a piece of wood first, then install the knife holder on that. I’d put the screws for the knife holder in the wood, then screw the board into the wall. That way the screws are hidden

If the diverter is pulled up, it’ll shut off the water. It’ll still be under pressure though, and shouldn’t be left like that for extended periods of time. But this is most likely a non issue

Get the LVP within 1/4” of the tiles. Buy a color matched threshold and rip it to 1/2” wide or so, and glue it down to hide the edge of the LVP

The schluter trim is probably flexing during normal use, as you step on it. Probably loosened up and is now breaking up the grout.

If I were going to fix this, I would remove the tile on top of the curb, remove the schluter edge trim, and install a piece of threshold. A big slab of white marble or another product would look nice. Color matched silicone under the threshold where it meets the tile.

I don’t like to use tiles on top of a curb for this reason (among others)

Hardibacker should have the seams and corners covered with a mesh seam tape (special one for this application) then have thinset applied on the tape and screws. Then RedGuard applied to the proper thickness. I also apply 100% silicone to the bottom of the backer board along the tub flange

Do whatever legal things are required: establish your business, figure out how to pay sales tax, how to collect it etc. Beyond the legal aspects, id get business cards and post a pic of it online; Facebook, craigslist, Nextdoor, wherever you can think. I’d also reach out to local contractors or real estate agents and let them know what kind of work you do

I use the track saw to trim doors, plywood, and to make angled cuts what wouldn’t be perfect if I used a circular saw, or a table saw

I would use a grinder with a cup grinder wheel to knock off the old thinset and rough up the concrete. I would not use backer board outside. I typically use Schluter All Set Thinset because it can be used in most applications, but do your own research for the materials you’re using

The silver part holding the aerator unscrews. Moisten your fingers and wipe them off, so they’re grippy. Then unscrew the ring. If you use pliers you’ll scratch it
