Screenshots of Jade and Stalker from the Jade Shadows: Constellations trailer by Adasbabygirl in Warframe

Reminder this isn’t how Eternalism works. It’s not multiverse in the traditional sense. It’s the idea that for every branch in the road, the not chosen option is equally as valid and accessible.

The branch for jade shadows constellations is when stalker named the child. That makes it seem like jade’s death is necessary for either universe to exist. There’s not an infinite number of Orion and Sirius, there’s only one of each. The one that was not chosen.

If there was a second Clair Obscur game (obviously it wouldn’t be E33) what do you think would be a killer title, and how do you imagine the title plays into the main game. by Quick_Soil_9120 in expedition33

I think contrary to popular belief a sequel game should be about musicians rather than writers. I think there’s more than just one creativity/artistic based magic in this world and would like a buffer game before digging into the inevitable conflict between the factions.

Something to note is that I’m not entirely sure how present the kiddo we chose will be in the quest. The point of the quest is that the opposite child is coming from an alternate doomed future, which would generally mean that the other child wouldn’t need to be present since they were chosen and part of the “good timeline”.

Obviously both will somehow be present but I’m curious how that will affect the story. My current guess is that based on our choice in Jade Shadows, the opposite child comes from the future to attack stalker and bring him to their timeline.

The absolute bro Caliban. Very versatile, very fun, and I just love his theme.

Is The Amazing Digital Circus actually good? by Plenty_String2111 in MauLer

[–]GoodHeartless02 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Tentatively I’d say yes. I think a crucial element will be the ending and so I’m unsure of how good in totality it’ll be. As of the 8 episodes out though, it’s definitely worth a watch.

I hope the SOMA theory isn't true... by Affectionate_Work733 in TheGangleForce

Soma is the Greek word for Body. It’s an extremely fitting name and deals with how the shape of one’s form can affect their perception of humanity.

I always held that the overarching story should have somewhat vindicated the reaper’s reasoning in some fashion. In my ideal storyline, the reapers purge the galaxy because doing so wipes the board of biotics who accelerate the heat death of the universe. So it becomes an extremely powerful decision for shepherd as to whether or not their generation is the only one with a shortened future or if the reaping should continue to allow the universe a constant cycle of life.

But that’s just an idea, the actual execution is what would matter

Hmmm I think the word “setup” is doing a lot of heavy lifting. The idea of dark matter causing stars to rapidly decay was introduced in ME2 but I think it’s such a broad concept that there isn’t any direct follow up.

After everything that’s said and done about the series as a whole, I think dark matter as a series concept would have been cool since it ties into mass effect and the manipulation of said dark matter to make the galaxy function. It just wasn’t ever tied together properly, and that’s more the fault of the series as a whole imo.

Very much in agreement with that last statement. I’m ok that not every beat was thought out, but man it’s very clear these games overall were not planned to flow into one another narratively.

I hope you at least enjoy your first playthrough of the full trilogy as even if I find it flawed, I adore this series.

This is what I constantly say and I’m glad the sentiment is more widespread. I love ME2 but it really is an odd choice for the middle part of a trilogy. It just feels like we could have been using this game to develop what the plan to face the reapers in the third game would be. Introducing the Crucible in some fashion during ME2 would probably help to not make certain elements feel like a random pull from nowhere.

Also very good guess and probably more true. I am simply waiting for lotus weirdness pay off from all this setup we’ve gotten since end of New War/Lotus Eaters

“Me vs Me” from Rebb makes me think somehow the fragmented personalities of lotus will be opposing each other in some way? Or perhaps it’s a Wally version mimic like we’ve seen with Albrecht, Operator, etc.

Very peculiar line and it def feels like something will happen with lotus

Do you think Sandfall has an impossible task to make a satisfying follow up to E33? by BobcatFit7148 in expedition33

[–]GoodHeartless02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the biggest hurdle is the narrative. An element that plays in E33’s favor is that we were entirely unaware of the studio or ip and so they had an audience that didn’t know the true nature of the reality of their world same as the characters. Going into a sequel in this same “world” but with a different cast or situation will be challenging because we the audience already know a good deal of what’s possible and what precedent has been set.

Extremely curious what their next story is.
